Are you Korean?
Counter-strike back in my middle/high school years. I would rush home to spend hours upon hours playing it.
It didn't really destroy my social life though since pretty much every guy in school played the game as well. If anything, it made me more friends.
I'll admit it did leave a dent on my grades.
World Of Warcraft.... I was so stupid.Hockey_Slayer
Im sure lots of us fell victime to this game, good times though.
I took a hit from W*RLD *F W*RCR*FT some time ago and now I'm back on it... Simply put, W*rcr*ft is behind other priorites... like lifting weights and calisthenics! :PHostileEffect
rofl I am staying away from that game for awhile!
Halo 2 - the online multiplayer had me hooked.
Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix - same as Halo 2.
Wolfenstein: ET - addictive multiplayer.
Team Fortress Classic / Counter Strike
Counter-Strike
When you start getting good, there's nothing quite as rewarding as a killing spree on CS.
It wasn't such a problem, as all my mates I usually go places with all succumbed to the same addiction. So, because of that, I wouldn't of went out much during that time period anyway.
Diablo 2vegetattack15
This. Just thinking about the 2 years of feverish D2 play makes me anxious. God I loved D2. I still love it even so many years later.
I miss you SoJ.

GAH!!! Flacking A!!!!
Four years and still going! Although not nearly as hardcore as before though. Sigh, back in the daze, I'll wake up @7, turn on my PS2, sit down and party for the whole day into the afternoon for levels, then quit, take a 2 hour breather, sit down, join my dynamis LS and then rock out in "Die-namyis" till the cow come home. Sleep, rinse and repeat on Sunday! Now, now "happily" married (Yea right) with a bundle of PAIN on the way, I just don't have time for it anymore, not even weekends! I still play once in awhile (If I'm not stuck in China or the MRs. doesn't throw a tantrum) but it can be months before I get into the game for awhile! In a way, I guess that's good cause I got my social life back again.
P.S. are you still playing and which server you are on?
Me, I'm on Garuda, Avatar Name Strydent. Level 75 WHM, RDM 66

That reminds me, before WoW I played FFXI for 3 years, I was a 75DRK and 75THF on Ramuh, I had to quit that game for the same reasons I quit WoW, it eats your soul.
