Hmm,
Alright, Soul Calibur 2 took up a whole lot of practice time during the week so that before we went out, we could beat the hell out of eachother. i remember that was my toilet book of choice even ahead of Maxim and GQ for at least 2 years. It actually became a part of my social life.
Halo 3 has kept be busy since it launched. While I've cooled on it in the past month, when it came out I would play for 2 days straight wonly stopping to sleep.
Counter strike source firstly. im glad i dont know exactly how much i have played that.
then theres a lot of AOE II Age of Kings. loved that for years too. then it turns into a lot of pokemon, guild wars, i beat the first kingdom hearts a lot of times....a lot, and halo 3 recently. i think those are all that qualify as life consuming

GAH!!! Flacking A!!!!
Four years and still going! Although not nearly as hardcore as before though. Sigh, back in the daze, I'll wake up @7, turn on my PS2, sit down and party for the whole day into the afternoon for levels, then quit, take a 2 hour breather, sit down, join my dynamis LS and then rock out in "Die-namyis" till the cow come home. Sleep, rinse and repeat on Sunday! Now, now "happily" married (Yea right) with a bundle of PAIN on the way, I just don't have time for it anymore, not even weekends! I still play once in awhile (If I'm not stuck in China or the MRs. doesn't throw a tantrum) but it can be months before I get into the game for awhile! In a way, I guess that's good cause I got my social life back again.
P.S. are you still playing and which server you are on?
Me, I'm on Garuda, Avatar Name Strydent. Level 75 WHM, RDM 66
That reminds me, before WoW I played FFXI for 3 years, I was a 75DRK and 75THF on Ramuh, I had to quit that game for the same reasons I quit WoW, it eats your soul.
It does does it? I'm trying to play WoW right now because every single goddamn fellow Chinese worker I'm in contact with play the shat out of this game.......OHMYFARKINGGOD!!!!! What am I getting myself into?!?!?!?!?

It will eat your soul, but on the other hand it's by far one of the greatest games ever made, Blizzard must have some sort of contract with the devil.
Mainly these two games destroyed the life I had outside of games and made me become isolated inside the house. Ive played many other games but these are the main 2. Although the only thing I got out of playing these were meeting some cool and close friends that I still talk to and having fun.
1.) Ragnarok
2.) World of Warcraft
Tribes... The only game that sucked my soul from me.
Played that sucker almost 24 hours a day... Some times 30 hours or more.
My conversation for about 3 months was all about Tribes.
I can't sit in-front of a screen more then 3-4 hours now... Before I have to look away. It made me screen shy and made me think I could zoom in to inspect things in the distance and mines were on the road while driving in real life.
No other game had that much of an impact on me since.
Starcraft, Freespace, Ninja Gaiden Black, Devil May Cry 3, and just recently Halo 3.
Although, it is arguable Halo 3 is making me more social, due to the lan parties and all
