Oblivion seems okay as well.

Medieval 2 had good draw distances, you could position camera at one side of map and still be able to see troops who had left the battlefield on the opposite side and still watch them walk for another 2-3 km
Flight games are a natural. Ace Combat 5 should have some wonderful detail from a distance. For the pc, it's FSX for me. Add one more for FSX:
I can't believe no one has mentioned the Uncharted series. Easily the best IMO.
I can't find a picture of chapter 2's city but look from the top of that building and you will be amazed! It's gorgeous!Blazerdt47
I don't think you understand what draw distance is. Those pictures from uncharted 2 are not draw distance, since they aren't actually "drawn" in by the cpu / gpu. They are sky boxes aka pretty pictures / movies, that are placed in the background to add depth to the levels. If you can't travel to it, it's not draw distance.
Draw distance is so impressive because you can see far off objects and then GO TO THEM. But I suppose this is why Sony is so popular with their method of graphics. Trick gamers into thinking they're getting amazing draw distances, even if it's only a picture.
I don't really pay close attention to these things, but from what I have played I would have to say Grand Theft Auto IV.
.
Sorry buy Spiderman 3 on Wii wins the award for worst draw distance by an absolute mile:

Stalker Call Of pripyat. you can see most of the huge expanse of every area of the zone, but also every part is still alive. if you could leave your body and visist the opposite corner of the map everything is still rendered. mutants, bandits, monolith and stalkers are still fighting whether or not you are there and if you had super binoculars i bet you could see them fighting. in gta or most games, things aren't rendered until you are right next to it
Will someone please explain what a draw distance is?? :PSw33tChilLiTadaa! Basically how far into the distance you can see actual objects. Games get round it nowadays by having certain objects not be there and appear when a player is a certain distance away and having objects scale in detail depending on how far away the player is. Which doesn't always work perfectly and explains why you sometimes slam into invisible lamposts in GTA4 and can notice textures popping in occasionally.
For a PS2 game, it has a ridiculous draw distance. The game was well ahead of it's time graphically.[QUOTE="jalexbrown"]I'm surprised nobody yet said Shadow of the Colossus.inertk
Edit:LookanDroll, please highlight the specific areas in the Battlefield 2 pictures I posted which display either 2D backgrounds, or a backdrop/skybox masquerading as a 3D environment.
None of those BF2 pic you posted show a skybox( you posted 1 pic 3 times by the way), he said exactly that in his post, you would know that if you read it.Unless I'm misremembering things, in Just Cause 2 you can see the entire game world if you're high enough. And it's not a small world. It's really impressive technology.
The Persona 4 ER has made me understand that reference. What do you need Draw Distance for? All you need to do is include some boobs and no gamer is going to care what's behind it or how many trees you can see in the distance.
brb, my nose started bleeding again.
