Games You Hate But People Love?

I have a lot of big titles I cant stand but the majority of people love...

1. Final Fantasy - Seriously, taking turns killing eachother?! Snorefest for me...
2. Halo1 and 2 - The more I played the single player campain the more I felt I was losing brain cells from how repetitive the game was...
3. Zelda....

mario games, metal gears, and ALL racing games

Halo = Most overrated franchise ever

i dont hate but i dont like as much...

Gears of War

Halo (i actually like this game but it dissapointed me cause i got it for multiplayer and i didnt like the maps that much)

Final Fantasy (im not sure if i played one or if i played this weird pirated version off my taiwanese cousin's gameboy. but i did play the real crystal chronicles made me angry. good thing i bought it for fifteen and succeeded in selling it for 7)

Now for a game that i hate but sooner or later will force myself to like is Call of DUty 4. the demo was horrendous imo (my friend liked it though) but after all these good things im hearing, i might get it for the pc later on.

Agreed. Ive tried playing a few of them and after 1 or 2 fights I want to blow my brains out its so awful. Just my opinion.

2.ninja Gaiden series

3.Wii sports

I wouldn't say hate, but I just plain didn't like Resident Evil 4 nearly as much as everybody else seems to have.

I also thought God of War II was worse than the first, even though everybody else says it's better.

Oh, and I found the Final Fantasy games rather boring. I appreciate the qualities of the game and can understand why other people would like them, but I just don't.

You've obviously never played Aquaman: Battle for Atlantis... :P

- Every sport game ever. I don't see the appeal in these games, and so it's a mystery to me as to why they sell so well.

- DDR - I would think that a game with dance in it's name, not once but, twice would actually have, I don't know, actual dancing. Seeing people play these games in arcades only gives me the urge to lol. I'll take Beatmania over this anyday.

- The Sims - This game lost it's appeal fast. The initial character creation and whatnot was cool at first, but the game quickly became a chore. Suffice to say, it didn't take long for this game to find it's way out of my game library.

- Halo - I don't hate this game, or dislike it really, but I can't see why people love it so. Really, it's nothing special.

Can't really think of anymore, since it's not often I play games I don't like.

1.- Halo series (just another FPS in my opinion and not the best of the best in x box)

2.- GTA series (so freaking boring to me)

3.- Age of Empires series (i prefer Starcraft II and Warcraft 3 anyday)

4.- Racing games (GT, Forza, Need for Speed)

Nope. There's nothing extraordinary about them, and they're usually the same thing every year. If you're a cripple, I can understand that, but if you're perfectly able-bodied I don't see why you can't actually play the sport in real life. The only reasons I can surmise for playing sports game are laziness or wanting to play as your favorite team, both of which I find to be pretty silly reasons honestly, but I guess those reasons are enough to pull the kind numbers they pull.

Turns out you do understand after all. Why is it a silly reason? Most people will never get the chance to turn out for Manchester United, so why is wishing to play them in FIFA silly?

Being able bodied doesn't mean you can play the sport well, but you may well be able to do so in the game.

thats how i was punished when i decided it was a good idea to draw on the wall when i was 5. i had to watch my dad paint over it, then sit and watch it dry. i wish that was a joke

Meh, I view it as on the same level as role-playing.

As for actually playing the game in real life, it's just about fun isn't it? You don't have to play the sport well to enjoy it.

Actually, I don't watch sports since I find doing so rather pointless. >.>

Halo Series and Final Fantasy 7

I don't like the 3D versions of Mario, Zelda, or Metriod but have yet try the new ones on the Wii yet and also I like the 2D verisons though.

I dont like Gears of War as much as other people.

Final Fantasy except 12.

And also sports games, racing games, MMORPGS.

Just sports games. That's all.

I like everything else, some less than others maybe, but never hate them.

Halo- I don't really dislike it, I have to say so because its popular and is an attention getter here(Someone quote me PLEASE).
Gears of War- Host advantage is the only aspect of this game..so I dislike it!
Forza 2- I'm not good enough to create unique designs with its livery editor so this game blows.
Oblivion- This game sucks because it allows for more casuals to play the same game as me..My ego is much to large for that!
Bioshock- This game is not hardcore, its not RPG enough and it has no death penalty. I want a game that starts me over from the absolute begining of a game when I die.

I hate the Final Fantasy games, especially the much-lauded FF7.

Other than that, most games people love that I don't also appreciate fall into the category of "haven't tried getting into it yet".

GTA- I liked it for a few hours but now I cant stand it.

Racing sims- they suck.

WOW- it really really sucks.

animal crossing- I find nothing remotely fun about it.
