a bunch of PSN games I never play

Burnout Paradise a little, got a good price on it but am just not into it.

MAG

360 and the games I got with it (Halo 3, Gears of War, Kameo, a couple other no namers)

Wii and all the games I bought for it except Boom Blox, which was a blast. Can I regret the console but not a game; does that make sense?

Can't think of any more, of which I'm sure there are many.

Some of these were okay games/systems, but I didn't feel I got my moneys worth before I was tired of them.

I regret these two full-price purchases to this day.

Mercs 2, GT5P, RE5, Army of two, Saints row 2, NFS undercover, Terminator salvation, Far cry 2, Prototype.

the one game i regret buying more than any other would have to be Demon's Souls. it's the best game i've played thus far this gen. so all other games fall short when playing them. i know this isn't what the tc intended when he posted this thread, but it's the truth. none compare to DS's. NONE i say:shock: here's to hoping that DS's improves on all aspects of this wonderfully wellmade game.

Soul Calibur IV. I have no idea why I bought it.

Aside from saying the majority of games in my Steam collection, these two stand out the most:

Dragon Age

Oooh what a generic, poorly-written experience this was. The combat was grand, but that one in only aspect just made it a diamond in the rough. Everything else surrounding the game was just so damn derivative and uninteresting, that it became a snore-fest quickly. And what the hell was so special about Morrigan? She sucked.

STALKER Clear Sky

Also my biggest disappointment for this gen, this game was a mess from head to toe. All the new stuff added in like the faction wars was added in very poorly, and a lot of things that made the previous game special was not present in this one. Bad AI, horrible quest system, broken emission system, awful main quest, and much more.

Left 4 Dead, Demon's Souls, and Soul Caliber IV.

At least I got Demon's Souls for $33 and I can always Goozex it in for full points.

InFamous too be honest at around $45. I really had high hopes for this game. It was fun but after i played it 2x, I never touched it again.

Transformers 1 - Game is garbage period

BeoWulf- Garbage

Pirates of the Carribean- Garbage

Borderlands. Lack of story made it horrible to get through.

Metro 2033 (just beat it yesterday after pulling myself to do it!)

Conviction. dumbed down everything. Co-op was boring didnt even finish it.

The Hobbit on PS2. Don't get me wrong, I had fun with it (it's also not a bad game in anyway), but in all honesty, LOTR: Two Towers and Return of the King were HELL of a lot better. So there's really no point in getting it.

But I got it on a cheap two-game deal at a pawn shop. Without that, I wouldn't have gotten Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy with it.

Street Fighter 4 more than any other this gen.

Oblivion and Bioshock. Both were absolute poop compared to their predecessors.

I didn't necessarily buy it (since it's a browser game), but I did subscribe when I was younger.

And probably a laundry list of Steam titles that I've yet to even start playing.

UT3: it only improved on graphics and seemed to downgrade or not include everything else that made UT04 so good (no invasion).

C&C 3: I became bored of it a lot faster than Red Alert or Generals.

Far Cry 2: I think I was half way through it when I suddenly stopped playing, there was no story to really keep you interested, it almost felt like an MMO without the players.

Black and White 2: I can't remember why I stopped playing this.

Spore: Repetetive final stage with the previous stages only lasting 2-3 hours.
