"Conclusion? It looks nice, but a tad sterile. The tracks in the game are very close to their real-life counterparts, just a little cleaner and with a touch of artistic license. We do long for some imperfections, though. PGR4 convincingly dirtied up its tracks over PGR3, whereas GT5P is more like Forza 2 in terms of clean lines. And it has to be said thatGT5Pstill looks very similar to PS2's Gran Turismo 4. To be honest, we were expecting a little more 'wow' from the game's environments, especially when most trees are still made up of two crossed polygons."
I dont really agree with them, especially the bolded part.

LMFAO! WTF....talk about being biased.
How in the blue hell does it look VERY similar to PS2's GT4...are they blind?
sorry, gotta be an idiot to take that seriously, or atleast with a straight face.

I haven't played prologue on the PS3 but from what I have seen the environments of PGR4 seem to look better, and GT5P has much nicer looking vehicles. What I find impressive in PGR though is the weather changes, does GT have this now?
Saying GT5P looks like GT4 is a bit of an odd statement, but then again it has been said by somebody for nearly every next generation sequel of a game this gen and it probably has more to do with raised expectations from stupid levels of hype.

It's right the environments are poor in places!
And the trees are made of two crossed polygons.
And yes i have played it, the game seems ok in it's self but the car i was using "a Toyota Celica gt4" it handled like a shopping cart with no wheels!
Car physics and dynamics are all wrong, most you can say is they look damn good.

errr look at this GT5:P pic:
see the environment? looks exactly like GTHD and wasnt GTHD HD version of GT4?
Lemmings seem to care a lot about a Ps3 game that apparently has worse graphics than PGR and worse physics than Forza. Total damage control. No one cares what you think GTFO!!Cbok
cows are the ones saying GT5P looks like teh gawd, its so fotorealiztic, pwns all games in teh world!!!2121"!!1

Fanboys here called me crazy when i suggested PGR4 looks vastly better than GT5, now it is just confirmed !!!!!
What OWNAGE there is in that article
As for Fable 2, now it is confirmed 3 generations of graphics ahead, since it is already 2 generations ahead of PGR4

What an OWNAGE !!!!!!!!!
You are aware 'generation' is a time period. Meaning..FABLE 2 CAN TIME TRAVEL!
Quite frankly, for you, it appears that if Fable 2 won't cure cancer it'll suck.
Damage conrol the below
When in motion, the game doesn't look as good as Project Gotham Racing 4, as GT5P has the series' usual 'clean' look to it, like the sterile recreation of Monaco in GT3.
GT5 does not even look as good as PGR4 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And it has to be said that GT5P still looks very similar to PS2's Gran Turismo 4. To be honest, we were expecting a little more 'wow' from the game's environments, especially when most trees are still made up of two crossed polygons.
The ultimate ABSOLUTE ownage is found in this article for PS3 graphics and GT5 !!!!

If I find it enjoyable - I won't care :|
If I find it enjoyable - I won't care :|thrones
Wellm i would never pay full price for game that has PS2 elements in its graphics, this is next gen, PS3 just falls behind
PGR4 is far more enjoyable too, and is a real next gen looking title, with real 3D trees, like Oblivion, and amazing detail in surroundings, not emptyness as the article says about GT5
PGR4s enviroments do look better, and it does look fantastic in motion, but GT5s cars look astounding, and yes it does look better overall.skrat_01
hahahaha, the article says it has nothing on PGR4 and looks as good as GT4 in some areas !!!! So overall PGR4 ANIHHILATES GT5 graphics by miles

that's what you think. it's ALL about what everyone else thinks (so you can pwn them later when their game is teh flopz).

PGR4 looks great no doubt, and fantastic in motion, though GT5 does look better overall. It doesent take an article to know that.Heck as much I like PGR4 (best in the series so far), its just doesent look as good as GT5 - simple.

TCHBO!! PGR4 looking better than GT5.... oh the embarassment.... a few days ago, some cow was claiming GT5 was the new king of graphics over CRYSIS! lol.... GT5 = GT4 in HD, confirmed!

You would be correct. GTHD was a high-res version of a GT4 track.
