1) It is a next-gen system since it is being released after this gen's consoles 2) It is not "slightly" better graphics. Proof? The devs said so 3) The sheep are going crazy over the new ideas that the tablet can doLastRambo341
1. So why is there a need to be confirmed as a "true" next gen console if it was next gen anyway.
2. That has no relation to how it compares with the yet unannounced consoles performance, which is what the term 'true next gen' is refering to.
Why is Nintendo not showing off it's capabilities. Everything we have seen from the console has shown performance no more than twice as powerful as the current gen at best.

What exactly have you seen to come to that conclusion? And they haven't revealed much about the Wii U because that's what E3 is for.[QUOTE="LastRambo341"]1) It is a next-gen system since it is being released after this gen's consoles 2) It is not "slightly" better graphics. 1) Its next gen 2) No, that is not the definition of next gen. If its releasing after the previous generation, its next gen by default. According to SW stupid dictionary, it is next gen because it IMPROVES from last gen. A relation to its future competitors has no effect whether it is next gen or not. Because they're not ready? Shown performance doesn't deny the specs. And the true graphical potential comes later in next genI hope they have the radar on the controller. That would be AWESOME.

He confirms in the video that the game does support this.
He also mentions that it is motion sensitive so when you move it around in the real world, it scans around different parts of the game world.

You're saying it's a next gen console anyway, but I was disputing the use of the word "true" in the way it was used. That reference implied a relation to performance. The sentence implied it would be on par with the competition. I just suggested, we simply can not know that right now.
Also true graphical potential doesn't have to come much later. RARE showed off the 360s early on with PDZ and others.

Why does it have to be on par with the competition to be 'true next gen'? What exactly have you seen to come to that conclusion? And they haven't revealed much about the Wii U because that's what E3 is for. What about that Zelda demo.
They showed off games coming out for the current gen, to say they would have the same games, but that's led to a lot of speculation that it's no more powerful, which I admit was likely mis-communication.
And then when they do have a tech demo such as the Zelda one, it seems to confirm that it's not going to be much more powerful. I do think it will be more powerful but only one or two times the 360.
Was the Zelda demo not supposed to give people an idea of it's graphical potential at least?

On the other, the term 'true next gen' then becomes completely redundant if the meaning is simply the release of a new console.
And I didn't bring the term, only highlighted its presumption if it was refering to "next gen performance".
