Gears 2 = Killzone 2 in graphics + it doesn't ****

I like how Killzone gets so much hype for having great graphics yet it's a generic, boring FPS with a campaign I didn't bother to finish and online that's a bad version of CoD.

Honestly, how does one of these pics look superior to the other? Gears not only looks as good but has a lot more creative design in terms of enemies, gameplay, and maps. Complain about too much gray? How about a whole game that takes place in a bombed out city and a desert? Killzone is such a joke its pathetic.

Killzone 2 has better graphics but gears is more fun but its the fun that matters imo.

Do you have any proof that that isn't true? No one has seen Reach yet, so arguing about it is pointless.

Theres really very little difference graphically it's more art style. Anyone being unbiased and having actually played both could tell you that. Both are better in some ways than the other but at the end of the day there about equal. Gears 2 has far more enemies on screen at once (and yes you can attack them) and in my book does more on screen at once which i guess is a plus.

Oh, and for the record...

Nothing on 360 compares.

I'd say equal, they both have pros and cons.

I prefer Killzone though, I couldnt get into Gears, i jumped then gun and went straight for hardcore, and it annoyed me. I may play it again to learn the ropes though

Calling KZ2's online play a "bad version of COD4 online" ='s instant fail...seriously.

Also I've played both and KZ2 is the better looking game technically.

You've got 10gs in Gears 2 and 30 in Gears 1. :lol: Good job, you certainly gave that an unbiased fair chance. I wish people could be remotely sensible in games like this. 10GS in gears 2 is like playing the tutorial. Or perhaps a multiplayer game. You can't get a good grip on anything through that.

The game is not "done"...what do you think beta's are for?

The beta is to patch the game day one if there's any multiplayer problems.

Halo Reach will most likely look the same as Halo 3 regardless of the engine. MS has the worst development talent in the industry.djsifer01

You fail at logic. Why are you defending baseless claims? It's ridiculous to go around making claims that have absolutely no proof to back them. You tried to defend his claim by saying there was no proof against it, only continuing the argument that you yourself said is "pointless". Hypocritical at best.

The original reply was a good one, don't say things only because you want them to be true. Going off of past evidence (Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST) Halo: Reach's graphics won't be anything out of the ordinary.
