Wow, that is longer than most shooters now a day. Plus the revamped online with 15 maps, new Horde mode, and online co-op gives a endless amount of time for this game.

Edit* Pwned. hehe

If you think the GeOW multiplayer is terrible why drop $60 on it? That's all I'm saying. I really wanna play through the single-player though.

most shooters are in the 10-15 hour range with an online component. if you think this is too little then i recommend you dont buy it and skip the majority of shooters that come out except for fallout 3.

personally i think the first one had almost perfect length. 1 or two more hours would have been perfect. longer games tend to have more boring sections which hurts the replay value a lot. especially in shooters where there is not gold and item collecting grind to keep you motivated like in rpgs.

i've also played gears on all difficulty settings and then some. the pacing is just perfect.

Counter-Strike had me going for 5 years and it cost me $20. To each his own.

i thought we were talking about simgle player  cs doesn't have any sp

we'll we won't know if the multiplayer is bad until we play it but so far it looks better than anything i've seen in the past few years.

you were assuming that i don't like shooters online in general and therefore shouldn't buy any. clearly, they are actually my favorite kind of shooter, which is why GeOW 2 is currently looking like a rent. the online just isn't for me.

if you wanna rush the story and not even look at the muiplayer portion of game.. sure..why not?

Maybe if Marcus looked more metro, he'd put more time in playing the game.
