Gears 3 Will own Uncharted 3.

Gears and Story, don't belong in the same sentence. Have you played Uncharted 2?? You wouldn't have made this thread if you did.

Nothing like giving one title dominance over another title when we know little to nothing about both titles... System Wars for ya.

I definitely don't think so. Uncharted 3 will win in no doubt.

We have no idea when UC3 will be out so calm down a little. It just friggin came out!

Also remember, Epic isn't the only one who will up their game, Naughty Dog will as well..;)

uncharted 2 was a more family-friendly, adolescent version of gears 2.

Maybe in gameplay, but for story, graphics, multiplayer, etc., it has some work that needs to be done.

Both are completely different games, you can't compare them.

Two different genre of games. To compare them is like apples and tomatoes. They will probaly both be game of the year contenders though.

as for the topic on hand why compare these two if none are out yet, its not even confirmed that an uncharted 3 is coming out

Both of these series have had 2 games, however Epic have taken the oppurtonity to build a story arc that will reach its dramatic conclusion in the 3rd chapter, Naughty Dog have opted for stories that start in game and the longer this goes on the staler the Uncharted series is going to get, despite being technically superior and arguably having better gameplay, whose with me when they say Gears 3 will own U3 if they go head to head next year.

The only thing that I found remotely fun or amusing about Gears of War was to play it co-op with a mate and make chimp noises every time a character makes a noise that isn't a word (a grunt, laugh, growl etc.)

Maybe the two games will cancel each other out and we won't have to listen to people go insane with overhyping. Yay!

For now am more hyped for Geow3 considering it was 'officially' announced, although we'll probably see U3 by end 2011 / early 2012...

however i love both series and will definately get both sequels :)

Gears3 will be a better shooter for sure, especially considering it will have 4 player coop campaign. Uncharted3 will have more variety with it´s platform elements. I think both will be equally impressive graphics wise

very bold statement none the less, something tells me Uncharted 3 is gonna be huge they are gonna give it there all in 3. Looking in another thread it seem like gears of war 3 is going for the 2d boarderlands look so idk.
