Gears of War 3 in video in HD, looking good!

Uncharteds gameplay is clunky and boring. The guns feel like pellet guns. Gears is meaty, fast paced and the most skill based shooter on consoles.

Uncharted does have lots of rendered grass as well as lots of other foliage...

All I know(and what I think most of us can admit) is that this game looks as good as anything out there on consoles.Textures,lighting and post processing is work of art,absolutelly amazing.

Really excited for the beta

Tried it in a friend house and the game reminds me of Gears 1 a lot which is an extremely good thing because that's exactly what i wanted. Graphics are by far the best looking on 360 and that was only the beta. With BF3 and GW2 coming out this fall, i dunno how'll be able to pwn in a three.silversix_

How are the textures?They seem very crisp in videos dunno how they are on big screen.

I didn't know jumping was such a necessity in a game :lol:

Going to be playing this when the beta starts for me on the 25th, think for the people who bought bulletstorm is starts on the 18th.

It's looking pretty cool.

Some pretty horrendous clipping though. Guns just dissapear into walls. Pretty inexcusable, IMHO.

Too bad the majority agrees. But you can live in denial makes no difference to me.

jdt532, rendering all of that grass is very fillrate intensive which the RSX just can't afford in high end PS3 games. If the PS3 had a fillrate like the PS2... You would be seeing Gears level grass in any Uncharted game or multiplat.

But if you could make a game just about rendering grass on the PS3 and nothing else...

You would get Flower.
