Which do you think looks better? I think they both look awesome ;)

All of those are bullshots but the Killzone 3 gameplay footage looks better then the Geow3 gameplay imo.
Based on art style, I like Gears better. Killzone just looks too orange, and ultimately bland.Anjunaddictagreed, Killzone 3 needs more lavender, pink, turquoise and mahogany to be artistically competent

Or ... it could just tone down the orange tint that covers everything.

If you play KZ2, you would know that KZ has very different tones of colors for evey map/enviorment. We have seen KZ3 with gray/white (the snow level) and the brown/orange from the level in the trailer.I think the brown bullshots looks better than the gray bullshots.mystervjGears 2 and Gears 3 are far from being just brown and gray. I don't know which one is better, but Gears 3 wins for me simply because it's more colorful. Epic did a great job in fixing that criticism of the first. Both games look amazing, though.
From those pics they both look great in there own way. I am going to have to buy a 360 for gears3, Ihave to finish the trilogy.
Both bullshots.Video of KZ3,but snow level looked better.Gears 3 had several important features improved since live gameplay like depth of field, better motion blur plus object motion blur, character lighting, shadowing and hair. Its all on UDK.com...maybe their improvements, month by month, are the reason they did not shown any footages at GC so they wait for the later of this year to show it when its done...
Lol at everyone complaining about the colour. There is a reason they have those tones. You guys should tell movie producers that next time they make an apocalypse movie or one were a nuclear bomb has gone off, that they need to have colour everywhere and no grey

And now back to reality, where it doesn't.
The only mission in Killzone 2 that stood out as artistically different was the one on the carrier. Which was absolutely beautiful technically and artistically.
Epic has always released Epic Bullshots. Those gears shots are so bull that it hurts. And while none of those picks for either game are in game, at least the KZ shots are "real".
Gamtrix
really? wow too bad, i thought the kz 2 art style was bad, the only colours they used was brown and grey, gears actually uses a full colour spectrum, looks like they added a new colour on kz3, orange
those GeoW 3 screenshots are bull****.
notice the lack of any aliasing?
atleast you can see the aliasing in the Killzone 3 shots, in comparison.
I dont know but both look damn great. ;) I'm a little biased towards Killzone 3 because of the awesome Helghast though.
They did a really bad job on marcus's arms. They took off his sleeve's but he has no muscle tone, looked better with them, put them back on.

i know right?
God of War 3 seems to have the correct idea!
Have you played Gears of War? No game should be that dark, brown and gray. Fortunately, the visuals at the time were outstanding, which made up for the lack of color, and Gears of War 2 fixed that completely.Lol at everyone complaining about the colour. KZ2 did have bright maps like Corinth Crossing in MP.I don't see the Gears 3 ones looking close to that, it could surprise us though.Im so tired of the "ZOMG TEH BULLSHOTS" the only diffrence is some AA between that and actualy game images I can count the games on one hand i played wherethe screenshots looked better then the game and they were usually low quality games.

Xbox 360 is incapable of displaying high end ps3 visuals, as proven by the games released thus far. I predict that Gears 3 will be comparable to Gears 2, which itself was comparable to Gears 1--a game that is comparable to Splinter Cell Chaos Theory on the original xbox.
