Gears of War 4 vs Uncharted 4

Not to mention The highest Uncharted rated game >>>>> highest rated Gears and the lower the main series has gone score wise is 88% while Gears score 79%.

Hell even the remake is higher rated for Uncharted 86 vs 82.

And Uncharted has better mechanics than Gears for years not to mention more freedom of movement to around the map.

in real life you cant see what is enemy doing behind the wall. cover system make game slower and break the immersion.

No surprise really, it doesn't seem like you've been keeping up with current events this isn't 2007 anymore. Halo 5's total numbers won't likely be close to what UC4 does in retail much less Gears 4.

Assuming Gears doesn't release as a piece of shit. I'd say Uncharted if I'm playing by myself, but Gears if I'm playing co-op. I don't care for the multiplayer for either game.

Why would we really need to be talking about Gears of War 4 or hyping it? It's the beginning of March, it doesn't come out for another 5 to 8 months, nothing needs to be said beyond that, it's a half a year away...

Why does them being an "unproven studio" immediately make this game have a negative connotation? It's got just as much reason to be excellent as it does not, you're intentionally focusing on negativity and fanboyism to float your stupid agenda. UC4 would have a far better story, characters, graphics and epic set pieces than Gears 4 so UC4 easily. But I do love both franchise so will be getting both.

What has being use as metric for quality since the late 80's,is not my opinion vs his opinion is the majority of opinions vs his.

Yes i have without SCORES you can't claim The Order sucks it would be your individual opinion,and since SCORES are the metric here and outside here to measure quality not only in games but in pretty much anything with a score attach to it.

I pick Gears by a really small margin

I'm going with Gears 4. Most likely will have more replay value with game modes like Horde, Multiplayer and campaign co-op. Then i have a feeling that the coalition will be supporting the game with content down the road to give even more value to the base game. The wildcard is if the game gets released on PC. It's game over for Uncharted if that happens.

I'd have to go with Gears, I like the game play better and the online is far superior. Uncharted is more of a single player game that tells a better story though.

No I don't think that is NyaDc's alt. i was just explaining to them why this isn't getting "real." I'm just calling his shilling like I have been for the past year. He just decided to meltdown tonight for some reason.

Game over it what sense if it goes to PC...sales? This isn't 2010. Gears is not nearly as popular now or highly revered now as you think. And it amazes how people think it won't skip a beat with a new studio making the game. How often does that work out as well the original devs? Halo and 343i should be reason enough to be cautious. This is basically the same situation.

I liked Uncharted & Gears respectively. Was much more of a fan for Gears 1-3. I didn't even play Uncharted 3 long to be honest..

That being said, it's hard for me to be excited for either of these games, for different reasons. Gears 3 was the last good Gears game; I can't even count the amount of hours I poured into it's multiplayer. I'm skeptical as hell when it comes to Gears 4, especially since Cliff has nothing to do with it......, and we all know that turned out. (Gears Judgment was trash.)

@StrongBlackVine: game over in context with this topic. Not game over for Uncharted 4 outside of this topic as I expect Uncharted 4 to be a huge success.

I'm just basing my opinion on GEARS 4 having more replay value and the coalition having more funds to pump out post game content to add more replay value(so money generated from PC and Xbox one will make it easier to fund the post game content). Regardless I find the base game value Gears 4 over Uncharted 4. I'll change tune if Uncharted 4 has more modes that haven't been announced.

Gears 4 will be a better game overall. Superior gunplay mechanics, way better combat, weapons and enemies, there's also the co op and the multiplayer which will blow anything Uncharted 4 can deliver out of the water. Horde mode alone makes Gears 4 worth buying. Plus if it's going back to the horror roots that Gears 1 had then it's even more enticing. Plus dedicated servers were Uncharted 4 uses P2P and will be a ghost town after a few weeks

Also, Gears 1-3 were all great games, Only Uncharted 2 really stood out, the first one was alright and the third one was as fun as watching paint dry.

So walking and talking in the dark is more of a game than the UC4 PSX 2014 demo? The PSX demo is what gives me hopes that Uncharted 4 isn't just Uncharted 2 on steroids. It looks like the levels are fundamentally different from a design standpoint.

He is constantly making predictions against Sony and for Microsoft(sales, reviews, exclusive deals) that are wrong and he probably has more meltdowns than any one on this forum(including this one). Bloodborne will flop, ROTR will never come to PS4, SFV will come to Xbox One, Microsoft will dominate holiday 2015, Halo 5 will be a 90+ GOTY candidate, etc. Dude is wrong so often it's comical. He is in my cross-hairs and will continue to stay there as long he keeps this charade up. As long as he keeps making statements I disagree with I will keep throwing in my 2 cents. It pisses him off because I'm right. I can't be bothered to search through his post history for more examples, but he his reputation is well deserved for any one that has around been here long enough.

Nya does seem like a lem, when I was lurking during the Halo 5 sales days. He was damage controlling when Phil was beating around the bush on how much Halo 5 actually sold and instead said it made like $400 million or something like that.

Like I said, I have zero interest in any of them, so I haven't seen anything from either game. I do know things about the series though, and Gears gameplay seem more fun. Uncharted seem to go more for that "cinematic experience" which I usually despise in games.

Uncharted 4 is a 1 and done game ... amazing game but 1 play through and shelved ... also its the last of the uncharted games made by naughty dog so yeah bye bye uncharted

I look back at this post and laugh at everyone who said uncharted over gears. I played both games and UC4 requires the least amount of skill. You go to there forums and you see all the complaints about slow matchmaking, lag, no dedicated servers, unbalanced powerups, less modes, no cinema or co-op in release like in previous uncharteds and stupid decision-making about making less costly C4s more effective than the inconsistent & expensive grenades. Also if you play ranked mode, you play a bunch of campers and it's impossible to beat in some cases. Actually the funny is that some maps are exploited by campers such as rooftops, island, new devon, & madagascar. In the other hand, gears of War requires more skill as everyone spawns with mostly the same guns. Camping is nonexistent as wall-bouncing and the better cover system is friendly to offensive players if you know how to use it. Weapons are fought for which promotes balance. Special executions add fun to the game, more realistic and it's suppose to be a futuristic game lmao in UC4 sniper headshots don't instant KO you and pop off your head like in Gears of War. Cintamanis, revive packs, and savior medics are ways to revive your teammates quickly. They ruin the game for snipers and anyone. You cant really play with a offensive mindset in UC4 after they nerfed Djinn, they really made UC4 a camp hard game. Go check the forums, bunch of people like me with rants on how this game became garbage after the most recent updates?

Inb4 retards or no-skill campers said UC4 over Gears 4 lmao UC4's lead developer QTrain named himself after Cole Train from Gears.. what that does that tell you? UC always wanted to be like Gears even when they took their power weapon concept.

Now? We see that Uncharted is a poor man's Gears of War. At least no one cries on gears of War forums about how to fix the game, it already comes balanced and well thought out.

Different types of shooters hard to compare, Gears of War 4 will be more fun to play (on a PC running at 60FPS) than Uncharted 4 since it is a shooter and that's all there is to it whereas Uncharted 4 has the most beautiful visuals, awesome and memorable characters and decent shooting mechanics.
