Grass,AGAIN,is my favourite starter

after Johto it all went terrible,Although i DO love ALOT of 3rd Gen pokemon

Im glad im not buying this,im waiting for another remake,or super version of Black/White,whats the point of wasting 40$ now when you can get a complete version in 2012?

They're definitely better faked than the first ones in this thread, but it's still too early to be real.

Another new Pokemon game, another load of people whining about how whichever game they played most as a kid was the best version, and these young whippersnapper versions don't hold a candle to them.

So whats the best type of pokemon to start out with? Fire, Grass or Water?Anjunaddict

Gen 1 Fire was the hardest difficulty, Water was in the middle difficulty wise, and Grass was the easiest.

Gen II Grass was the Hardest difficulty, Water was in the middle, and Fire was the easiest.

Gen III Fire was the hardest difficulty, Water was in the middle, and Grass was the easiest difficulty.

Gen IV Fire was the hardest difficulty, Water was in the middle, and Grass was the easiest.

It all depends on the gym leaders in Gen I, III, and IV the gym leaders specialized in types that Fire had trouble with at the start so it was more difficult starting out. Gen II the gym leaders specialized in types that Grass struggled against in Johto grass was only super effective against one gym leader and that was Chuck.

Oh God no. Those three were actually my least favorite starters. It's all about the first gen.

You know what would be nice? If Nintendo wasn't so inexplicably afraid to change up the franchise a little bit and the starting three pokemon weren't Grass, Water, and Fire. Knowing Nintendo, that isn't likely to happen.

Both are fake. I know I've seen the first water type starter before on some faker website, and the second set look too unprofessional. Also he first grass type has bigger ears than the silhouetteit's supposed to be of.

Idk man.. people always say "the first is the best" I honestly don't get that. Same goes on with OoT vs TP, the latter is clearly better but it's just the impact of the first game that leaves a strong memory behind I guess

Most of the new Pokemon look like someone's random doodles extrapolated into complete designs. The first gen Pokemon mostly had some good inspiration and had some character to them, while the new ones increasingly seem to be wholly inspired by the need for 500 more Pokemon to be in the latest game...

For those of you compalining about the looks, I would love to see you guys make over 500 pokemon and name them. Give Gamefreak a break it's freaking hard at making over 500 pokemon.

]Weedle, Kakuna, Beedrill, Caterpie, Metapod, Butterfree, Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, Geodude, Graveler, Ponyta, Rapidash, Magnemite, Magneton, Grimer, Muk, Krabby, Kingler, Voltorb, Electrode, Exeggcute, Tangela... So much "creativity" if you ask me. There have been alot of great Pokemon that have come from 3rd and 4th gen.
