Game reveals and gameplay footage aside, Sony has clearly proven that they have learned nothing from pricing the PS3 at $600. Now they are going to price a remodeled PSP at $249? Really? In this economic climate?

Gamespot picked MS as the clear winner on E3 09 Live.

Agree with you there, but overall all 3 were pretty disappointing, in all honesty the only real highlights are one exclusive for each system but their all next year, go figure. :cry:

What were Sony's main announcements? I'm looking for a summary of their conference but there's so much happening at E3 it's hard to find simple news which isn't scattered over multiple pages and sites. Was there a new MGS?Ninja-Hippo

Summary of their conference in point form, though the order might be a little off and I may have missed a thing or two

• Talked about PS2
• Evan from Naughty Dog got up on stage and demo'd Uncharted 2: Among Thieves new Single Player
• Live 256 player match of MAG on stage to demonstrate key gameplay features like FRAGO
• PSP Go announced. Sony says they'll support both this and the 3000 knowing people still want a UMD option
• Video store will be expanded to PSP
• Gran Turismo for the PSP shown off with a trailer and they gave lots of details about the game. It's due out on October 1st, 2009
• Kojima takes the stage and announes MGS: Peace Walker. Talks about how this will be a true next MGS and that they'll be exploiting the full specs of the PSP for the game before they show off an extensive trailer for the game
• Resident Evil PSP was announced but nothing was said about it
• PSP Montage
• PS3/PSN Montage
• Sony plans to release 51 PS1 Classics starting with FF VII yesterday
• English version of FF XIII was extensively shown off in trailer form
• FF XIV was announced, due out in 2010 ( Yeah, I don't believe that one either )
• Extensive Motion Technology segment ( Geez, did all of the Big 3 get together and decide they would all have a mandatory motion sensing tech demo)
• Mod Nation Racer was announced and extensively demonstrated on stage.
• Team Ico's next project the Last Guardian was shown off in an extensive trailer
• Gran Turismo 5 was shown off
• And finally, God of War 3 gameplay was shown in all its epic glory

I hate WoW, too. :) It's the best MMO out there. That's undeniable. Doesn't mean I like it, though.
