Not saying that the game's is bad but highly underrated and not exactly well known by many. And in this day and age when everything is just hype and inflated scores I doubt that any developers would announce a sequel for a game like that.

Metroid Prime isn't really that oldschool though. I think anything N64/PS1 and prior is oldschool. But I guess that is just my interpretation :P.
