i respect the real sega because they used to make games that western people could like. sammy killed them though. i respect some japanese games too im just not obsessed with them.

Ha, people were saying that last generation, too. In 20 years, you'll still be thinking the same thing. But we're in the eighth generation now, and I think it's fair to start calling the fifth and sixth generations "old school." Anyway, the trailer they showed last year was stupid. The Last of Us is a totally scripted, linear game that we saw with Uncharted, but now with "deep mechanics," like an inventory system that will probably amount to stockpiling different weapons, health regeneration and stamina health regeneration items. So amazing.
You have to be a special kind of masoschist to watch the VGAs. Geoff seems like a cool guy, and some of his work I've read is excellent (and the Doriotos Dew stuff was painful), but jeesh. Lets let the VGAs put itself down already.
