GeOW Chainsaw VS RE4 Chainsaw

Even though i belive both games are very Overrated i would have to say Goew.........

Re4 has a ...meh.....generic standard chainsaw, seen it 1000 times before in horror movies GeOW chainsaw is 100x cooler and produces nicer gore and splatterGears360

Yeah the chainsaw is prolly better for geow but the overall game goes to RE4 is just a flat out better game overall. GEOW was a great game but still doesnt come close to RE4.

Yes but thats why RE4 had a weapon called the Mine Thrower which was a homing missile dat I would take anyday over a chainsaw. even though the chainsaw was fun but it gets old fast.

RE4 was a big impact and really was more impressing to gamers. If u have played through the single player, it just blew the hell out of GEOW short single player expirience and may I say more challenging and yes the chainsaw guy on RE4 actually gave u shivers that there was a chainsaw guy out der trying to kill u. GEOW was great with the chainsaw and all but like I said it was just a duck and cover game with beautiful graphics.

I loved them both equally.

They were both disgusting, and fun to watch. :twisted:

Okay, I decided to make this poll for 2 reasons. 1) Most topics today are flame wars, DMC4 or Zephir/elite 360 so I made something fun. 2) Alot of people argue about the chainsaws in random topics. So what one do YOU think is better?Hyper-Chicken

Although the RE4 chainsaw is cooler and less glitchy, you can't actually use it. They should get some multiplayer mercinaries going, with one side being ganados with chainsaws... that would be amazing.

Both are awesome but I voted Gears. There's nothing like that feeling of ripping into your enemy with the Gears chainsaw.

RE4 was great though when you got sliced up. I remember letting the enemies do it to me once for like 20 times cause it just looked so awesome.

Gears' chainsaw is on the bottom of a gun, and you can actually use it. How can it not win?

RE4's beheadings were pretty cool though.

I couldn't disagree more. 

I loved the RE series up until they ruined the plot and changed to an action genre instead of horror.  RE4 was a damn good game, but Gears offers so much more.  Both had short SP, but the gameplay and controls were so much better in Gears, along with Co-op and MP.

I have sold re4 along with my gamecube to get a 360 but if you want me to post pics to prove that i have goew then i will, serouisly there both really overrated

Both are awesome, for different reasons. That's why I didn't pick one in the poll.

However, if I had to choose, I'd pick Gears' chainsaw. RE4's chainsaw people are scary (and very deadly), but Gears has a more satisfying chainsaw, as you're the one using it, not the one dying by it. 

I'd rather die to RE4's chainsaw, but at least I can get a kill with the Gears one.
