Cliff is pretty cool. Most of the press just paintbrush him as a giant douche though. This is how Cliff really is.

Cliff responses are no different from what you hear from other developers, People are really just blowing his statements out of proportion as if hes someone special.

I take what developers say with as much credibility as what a fanboy says on SW. Because in the end, they are just regular @$$ people with a job in the industry.

That line is nothing but the truth. CliffyB is talented! There is no doubt about it. He added an extra standard to TPS which I give him credit for and I accept him as a great developer just as much as he is an ahole.

Cliff Bleszinski is one of the biggest talents in the North American video game industry. He has made the best new IP of the generation, thats a rare thing to see in this generation which seems to be sequel after sequel. He's made two games in two years that have gotten universal AAA ratings and he is a huge talent. He has something many people don't have, he knows what people want in their games and he never lies about his games unlike that Molynator.

What is with all the Dude Huge hate though, why do Cows and Sheep like to pick on him for being outspoken? Kojima is an amazing video game maker but he's also one of the biggest trolls of all time (I love him for that though). There are way more people to pick on, Cliffy B hasn't done anything but say his opinions why do you care. They make sense most of the time anyways. He asks questions normal people have, he's not an elitest gamer, he's a regular guy who likes his chainsaws, guns, and gore. What's wrong with that, as long as he makes the games.

Meh..i dont hate him as a person..hes a cool guy who clearly knows what he's doing in this industry..and has made a huge impact.

But these past few days have been a "Stupid comment" feild day...left and right just stupid BS flying all over the place..its hard not to take notice and not call something stupid when it clearly is.

This Mirrors Edge criticism is totally ridiculous. He's said dumb stuff in the past, but I'm willing to excuse it and take it totally in good fun. I can be a jerk too.

Maybe so, but the person originally quoted didnt state it was his opinion, he tossed it out like it was a fact. Which obviously, its not. If you want to treat it as fact, we have factual information to prove otherwise. :D

Anyways, I don't see the where the hate comes from seriously. I'm guessing everyone in the gaming industry's mouths should be shut, be interviewed with non of their wanted opinions stated but with all professional talk and no substance.
