Um no it wasnt. Although the GC was clearly more powerful then the PS2 it wasnt by much. It had slighly more ram around 44MB compared to the PS2 32. But still the PS2 had a better processor but the GC edged it out with a better GPU. Regardless the fact is God of War 2 if it was a Wii game would be among the best looking Wii titles avaliable . And thats simply pathetic. I know the Wii isnt about grpahics but come on you should at least be making games that look better then what7 year old hardware is producing.

GC's was a PowerPC at 486 mhz, PS2's was 294 mhz. The RAM difference is quite significant, and that's just in raw numbers. Architecturally GC is simply better.

It was that much uglier, it was just that the difference could be spotted.

And the Gamecube is very powerfull. Just look at the launch title that had graphics just as good as first generation Xbox 360 games.
