The difference between Halo 4 on MC and God of War on MC is there was no troll reviews. There is no 2 out of 10 bringing the score down.CanYouDiglt

GOW is a AAA franchise

God of War 2 = 93

God of War 3 = 92

Chains of Olympus = 91

Ghost of Sparta = 86

Ascensions = 79

 

Franchise average = 89.16

 

Before someone mentions counting the PSP installments,  This is counting all of the cannon God of War games, since they all belong to the same arch.  Even removing Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta, the average is STILL 89.5.

All scores are from the platform the game originally released on, and not counting any of the collections, re-releases, etc....(if we did, that would bring the average down further :) ) .

God of War is no longer an AAA franchise anymore.  Better luck next gen :(

Last time I checked how many A's a game has was based on how bloated its budget was, not how many as close to 10 reviews as possible that it didnt deserve.

Call of Duty gets stupidly high reviews still and its been the same damn game for years now. Dunno where this ideal came from that a fatter budget will automatcially mean a better game.

So tc got owned trying to claim ownage using metacritic averages.

Halo anniversary is a new game, it had its own multiplayer included aswell as terminals that offered single palyer insight into the halo lore. also where is it said halo wars is not cannon?

If you are not being sarcastic it is a heavily flawed review aggregate that uses reviews from multiple sources and averages them together.Certain review sources are more highly valued by metacritc and these sources can influence the average score of a game the most.MC picks and chooses what sources to use for each game,movie and etc which is really annoying and it has a massive influence on the metacritc score for the movie, game or other form of media being reviewed.
