[QUOTE="ispeakfact"][QUOTE="Giancar"]Saw movies are one of the worst thingsright now in the film industryGiancarHence why I said "Not sure how I feel just yet." :( yep, Michael Bay movies are in the Kubrick status compared to Saw movies :? I'd tend to agree...droogie. ;)
Double post, but the saw team are lunatics for blood and gore,i can imagine whats god of war is gonna be Ratchet_Fan8I've honestly only seen the first one, and like most, I thought the twist was pretty slick. But I know the horror that is the rest of the series. However, this is Kratos, so there must be blood, what these guys excel in, apparently. I'm still not too happy, though.
You know, the people behind 300 should have made the God of War movie. That would have done full justice to the concept of God of War (not least because 300 often felt like a movie version of God of War).charizard1605Agreed. Zack Snyder and his 300 crew would have made for a pretty epic GoW flick.

Zack Snyder and his 300 crew would have made for a pretty epic GoW flick. Yep. Snyder seems to have some sense of scale, and he can handle over the top setpieces and make them look cool and exciting, like he did in 300. The entire time that I was watching 300, the one thing that kept going through my mind was how much it felt like God of War. Not only because the setting was the same, but because it had the same visceral rawness about it- lots of bloody violence, gore, lots of testosterone fueled action, lots of nudity and sex, and similar panoramas. Sony really should have gotten him and his crew to do the God of War movie. Then again, most video game movies never really get made, so I hope to god that that's the case here. I absolutely love God of War, and I don't want it to be sullied by a mediocre film helmed by the worst possible people.

The first two SAW movies were brilliant, with compelling character exploration, both in the motives of Jigsaw and his victims. Just that they stretched the series much further than they should have. After the initial 2 entries, there wasn't much more you could get into about "what would you do to live?", and it just became a spectacle of how gory the deaths could be, and the inventiveness of the traps.
God of War's story had a number of things that I question as plot holes. Also perhaps the most unlikable protagonist I've seen in anything, ever.
Saw 1 and 2 were very interesting movies and very fun to watch.
3 Was terrible but at least they could've ended the series right then and there yet they continued.
Then they continued to make 3 sh*tty movies.
Writers that turn a series to sh*t after the first 2 were good..... sounds perfect for God of War.
Hence why I said "Not sure how I feel just yet." :([QUOTE="ispeakfact"][QUOTE="Giancar"]Saw movies are one of the worst thingsright now in the film industryAdobeArtist

Maybe I should see the second one. I can't say that I didn't like the first, because I thought it was pretty good.Oh Jesus that doesn't sound good :?
Also David Jaffe said some one was in for the role of Kratos for a while and he said he was kind of happy about it, wonder who it was

Te second not so much for me. it was good but didn't captivate me like the first. the first SAW movie is incredibly well written and played out. But after 2 they took a HUGE nose dive into a big steaming pile of crap
[QUOTE="seanmcloughlin"]vin diesel. you know it'll be vin diesel.Oh Jesus that doesn't sound good :?

:? don't even joke about that. That would be awful, he hasn't got the lungs to roar like Kratos, but he does have a badass normal voice.
I still want Djimon Hounsou to do it
That or TC Carson himself, beef him up a LOT and shave his head :P

kratos is an albino...well, he becomes one. you'd need a lot of makeup to make a black man look albino. and seriously, vin diesel already looks like kratos.vin diesel. you know it'll be vin diesel.[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"][QUOTE="seanmcloughlin"]

TC Carson could easily do it, he'd just have to get buff and go through some makeup. Nobody really looks that much like Kratos anyway so I don't see why not have the perfect voice and a so-so look than a slightly more similar looking Kratos with a mediocre voice.vin diesel. you know it'll be vin diesel.[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"][QUOTE="seanmcloughlin"]

Well with Kratos being greek, I'm not so sure how well Carson would work out. Might have to get a first time, no namer, which surprisingly works out well a lot of the time.[QUOTE="Ratchet_Fan8"]Double post, but the saw team are lunatics for blood and gore,i can imagine whats god of war is gonna be ispeakfactI've honestly only seen the first one, and like most, I thought the twist was pretty slick. It would up to the prop masters, set designers and director to figure that out. Or green screen the enviro like 300, which is why earlier I was saying that Snyder and his 300 crew would have been great.
