The visuals are completely unimpressive, like Activision is barely even trying. However, the game could still be good and possibly sell well based on the nostalgia factor. We'll have to wait and see if they significantly improve the game or just make it a port with a minor facelift.

Name one current gen console arcade shooter that offers as many game modes, bots, weapons at a constant 60 fps with splitscreen multiplayer. Aside from a bad framerate, single analogue controls and dated graphics, Perfect Dark on the N64 remains one of the greatest console shooters of all time. There are almost no shooters being made in the genre anymore to cater to people (like me) who enjoy splitscreen with hectic, botted multiplayer. Its all about "realism" now. Its a shame PD is getting dated, because no one, besides Free Radical, has stepped in to fill the void.
Ugly. Don't see why people like this garbage looking game but I am not impressed.

Red Steel 2 is cell-shaded and that seems to work best on the Wii but this game is far from garbage looking. Its "doable" and all they have to do is throw in a bunch of modes and improve visually from N64 and its a win no matter the score it gets.
Jeez, the game doesn't look THAT bad... we just all have to get over the fact the Wii isn't HD. I'm interested, I'm just kinda confused as to how different the scenery in thetrailer was from the original game. I hope they don't change it up that much. And they need to keep the finding the objectives based gameplay or its a no buy for me.

Absolutely. I've read the books, it's only really Connery and Dalton who nail it but both Moore and Brosnan were poor parodies of James Bond and Craig updates it nicely for the modern audience.

A complete remake? Or just an upgrade ala PD? If its the latter than the comment still applies if the former than why even care? 50,000 other shooters are coming out and unless they make some TREMENDOUS upgrades, this won't even be worth touching.
Say it comes out this year, how many people that own multiple system will choose this over the countless other shooters coming out? Probably not many, and the shooter platform hasn't really thrived on the Wii sans COD4: Reflex.
Looks okay. I don't know I feel unimpress with that trailer for some reason, through spiltscreen multiplayer is a huge plus, I sure the controls are going to be great, plus I can finally try this game (well I did play a little of the original and played GE source).
