Alright...THREE RROD's now. I never post (just read) but now I've had it. I've supported MS for a long time now and the support has just ended. I'm not even trying anymore. I'm not shipping it off to get it fixed...AGAIN. I'm sick a tired of this thing bricking on me. Three times in two years is not good. I have a decent savings account. I'm buying a PS3 on Friday. Trading in my 15 games will help reduce the cost. Enough is enough. Every single time I send this thing back, I'm sending the message to MS that it's OK for the 360 to fail. I understand the Jasper units SUPPOSEDLY do not fail. I don't care. I'm not giving MS another dime. They can keep their shoddy hardware. Cheap parts. Horrible design. Expensive add-ons and paying for online is not worth the trouble. I'm done with MS. /rantDinkusMaximus

I'd do the same thing after any console of mine were to break twice. You're a patient man by my standards.

Actually if you trade in all the games you dont need and if their all worth it you might end up getting the ps3 either without paying anything or paying an exrta $50-$100.. do it!

I just did the same thing, i made a post before the slim came out asking who else was going to get rid of their faulty xbox for a PS3 and i got bashed by M$ fan lovers, my thing broke 4 times, almost every form of breaking, disk scratching, RROD, no video but audio, and disk unreadable.

M$ isn't losing a lot considering how much they make but 300$ here 50$ there from people not buying games really adds up my game count was up in the 20's so at least from me there losing 300$ a year.

I'm not paying to repair a system that has a 100% chance of breaking again on me. (At least for me and since that's all that matters when it comes to my money.)

I was just going to bring this up. And whats even funnier about it is that the MCD see no problem with it but when a level 1 first post is negative about the PS3 the entire thread has posts pointing it out that it is a fake account. Sony Wars.

if it gets fixed for free why not send it in then sell it? and trading in your game will only get you 8 bucks each. better off ebaying them.

My launch 360 was thrown in the garbage because it was out of warranty and got RROD, and yesterday I sent my second 360 off for repair for the same thing. I tracked it today online as it left England and was on its way to Germany. The 360 is the most useless piece of crap ever invented, sadly I own over 20 games for it and have over 200 pounds worth of games coming in the next few months so ihave no choice but to put up with it crapping out on me every two years.

Worst console ever.

i know because ive been through 5 of them my self the first 360 i own gave me this to play this game put in in an xbox360 message, 2 nd one rrod the 3rd one rrod the 4th one rrod and the 5th one didnt even turn on one day ,

even though the light on the power was green , and ive had it scratch my games break my games -in the center of my national lamppon dvd theres 2 cracks down the center thanks to the 360 , ,

you know what is sickning, is when you get people like that htird poster who says maybe you should drop it ,

ive had my nes drop several times, and it never faled on me and its over 20 yrs old , my n64 same thing my snes same thing ,,

gc dropped once still works , ps2 still works , the big xbox works even after droping it from the bed to the floor

and it still works,

but the 360 you just let it sit there and it breaks down on ya lol its hiliarious ,
