I felt the same several months ago when it broke down for the secound time... you'd think a billion dollar company would know whats wrong and fix it by now, I just couldn't let go especialy with forza 3 and the coming halo (not odst) on the horizon, that and the fixed it for free both times the guy on the phone gave in after I stoned his logic. Hope you have it in you to give it another go, chances are if they haven't fixed it the 2nd time it might break again but hopefully you'd have played through forza 3 by then :P.

Errrr, huh? All I've been hearing is good news from both with the price drops and bundles, etc. The only bad news is my system kicking the bucket. That other guy was right. There is a ton of defensive people here. Why defend something that constantly fails? I just don't get that. And I haven't bought a PS3 yet so I really can't be pro about that either.

It's called buyer's remorse. They bought a system with known hardware problems, and they go "LALALALA I'M NOT LISTENING TO YOU FANBOY" whenever someone brings up RROD. I don't know about Lemmings, but I'd never buy a system that most probably breaks down after a couple of years.

But I don't care about any of that. I only bought it because it was cheaper, I like games and my wife wanted Forza. okay, but what's your gamertag? the 360 pretty much forces you to create one.

Alright...THREE RROD's now. I never post (just read) but now I've had it. I've supported MS for a long time now and the support has just ended. I'm not even trying anymore. I'm not shipping it off to get it fixed...AGAIN. I'm sick a tired of this thing bricking on me. Three times in two years is not good. I have a decent savings account. I'm buying a PS3 on Friday. Trading in my 15 games will help reduce the cost. Enough is enough. Every single time I send this thing back, I'm sending the message to MS that it's OK for the 360 to fail. I understand the Jasper units SUPPOSEDLY do not fail. I don't care. I'm not giving MS another dime. They can keep their shoddy hardware. Cheap parts. Horrible design. Expensive add-ons and paying for online is not worth the trouble. I'm done with MS. /rantDinkusMaximus
Sounds similar to my story... I got sick of the RROD too. Buy a PS3 and you'll never look back.
Every single person I know that owns a 360 has had RROD. One had it 4 times before he decided to sell all of his games and over priced accessories and buy a PS3.
It took me only one RROD before I made the switch.
