Got back from playing Brawl and Galaxy on a 73inch Mistubishi 1080p god tv

A total of 6 minutes worth of gameplay on several games that easily should take more like 50+ hours of gameplay both combined really makes your opinion feel valid, compared to those who actually do take that many hours of their time and like what they play.

I agree. Both of those games are not nearly as good as sheep claim them to be. Super Mario Galaxy was fun, but the motion controls were used very poorly (rolling the music ball and controlling the ray surfing were horrible), and the overall concept of sphere hopping in the game was just a huge gimmick. It was just another Mario Rehash.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl was also a very shallow game. It still really only focuses around your characters two main attacks, and the final smashes only make it an even more luck based, non-skill require button masher than before.

Both were incredibly overrated games, neither of which deserved an AA ranking, let alone a 9.5. But I guess it's easier to get a higher score when you're being ranked by last gen standards.

i found that ALL wii games play better on SDTV rather than HDTV. i donno why but it always turns out that way. i say you give those games another try on a SDTVlittlestreakier

I just find them both tremendously overrated and dated. Having Mario run around upside down in strange gravity waving a pointer around to collect items you throw at stars. I'd rather eat poison sumac.

As for Brawl I never liked Melee so I wasn't expecting much but when I can't even get the character to jump consistently when I press up on the stick I find that to be BROKEN. The graphics looked really washed out. Not good at all.

I am sick of Nintendo getting a pass on this kind of stuff.

Ok first of all, Its on an 73 inch tv. I know the wii doesn't have amazing graphics but playing it on such a big tv without component cables will just make it worse

So you want no more heroes? You dislike mario galaxy's graphics but probably like No more heroes graphics because its artistic

IMO Galaxy is pretty danm artistic too

1 min ; Loading the game and creating the save file

2nd min : The beggining cutscene

3rd Min : Trying out the game and its controls

Try playing it for longer and seeing the games true graphics and gameplay

9.5 doesnt mean great game for ALL. I prefer play DMC4 than NMH. To me DMC4 is better game. Should i change my mind since NMH got a score 9.0? No , i wont. Dont like it... End of story. Its about tastes and btw...

Try play a 3D game on 640p then go to 1080p on your PC. Now, do it on your PC. Is there any difference? There is... Now,thru HDMI do the same and watch it from your 50++ to 73" Oo HDTV. Now you can see even more @#$@#$ on 640p that you couldnt see on your 22" TV or 30". Hmmm...

Im just curious what games will gonna see the next 4 - 5 years from Wii. Its Wii at its limits already or? Lets see... And btw, DONT buy a 70" 1080p TV since youll see things you wont wanna see. Stick to your 30-40" SDTVs or 720p.

Go watch the movie on a DvD-Rip 700MB where its resolution is 640 then try do it 1080!!! Wow... i mean who needs Blu-ray!!

So you are displaying a 480p60 on a 73 inch tv.

Nothing looks great on that tv unless you are 9 to 10 feet away at minium.

While I agree SMG is a bit overrated (9.0 IMO), I bought brawl because of all the hype but I never liked melee at all. The game is incredibly addicting once you get the controls down. Oh BTW you will definitely need to change the controls on the nunchuk/wiimote since the way the default is setup, it doesnt work well at all. But giving the game 3 minutes isnt giving it nearly enough time to judge it so harshly. Also, I think the graphics are pretty solid for Wii. Plus we need to remember its not all about graphics.

Anyway, flaming both those games on this site isnt going to get you anywhere so good luck.
