That being said, demos are meant to be representations of the full product. We can't just dismiss a demo, for that very reason. In some cases, the demo does more harm than good (re: Dead Space :? ).

People will get excited by demos, and people will be disappointed by demos. No matter how you slice it, it's still a representation of the final product.

Well don't get your hopes up, I played the actual game and it's a complete rehash.

The only changes between demos and final products are possible framerate fixes and some gameplay changes. The graphical quality rarely ever changes.

Besides, Dead Space is awesome. The demo just didn't do it any favors. Perhaps like what is happening with GoW3?

You know, I never even mentioned anything about the GoW3 demo, because I've never played it. I just made an observation about demos in general.

No, I don't mean that. I'm taking the TC's point even further into absurdity.

The reality is Halo 3 is Halo 3, NG2 is NG2, GOW 3 Demo is just a GOW 3 Demo.
