I own a 360, but I saw a preview for GT5, specifically the WRC portion and started drooling, I miss rally games. Will FM3 have rally racing? And does FM3 have any specific racing style/championship that GT5 won't have?

SUV's for all the soccer moms out there. I'm surprised they didn't add vans aswell. I wouldn't mind racing a Dodge Caravan.

Thats why you usually see RPG's on the top of those lists or fighters. I beat you at the end of this gen zelda will be at the top of the wiis Gamefaqs list. FF 13 or 15 if thats this gen will be on the ps3's list and a Halo game will be on the 360s list. Those games will be followed by RPGS and other fighting games. Id say those lists are more or less based of the learning curve of those games.[QUOTE="The_Game21x"] Forza has one of the largest and most active online communities of any racing game. Ever. The PSN having free online doesn't make much of a difference because it hasn't in the past. The 360 still tends to have more active online communities.
We don't even know if GT5's online will be good enough to foster the growth of a larger community. If it's anything like GT5: Prologue's system, it's going to be terrible. While I don't think GT5 will be as bad as Prologue was in regards to its online play, this is something Japanese developers have typically struggled with in the past so it's pretty safe to assume that Forza 3 will be better than GT5 in that respect, at least until we see what Polyphony has been working on in that area.

There is always that possibility so he shouldnt rule that out. And since the online is free more users who arent that active in online will be able to participate within that game. Your right very little is known about gt 5 in comparison to forza 3. But if the online is even close to forza's ill tell you this right now GT will have a bigger online thats based on the fans of the series thats not based off of nothing.tbh IDC about nascar or rally racing, I care about the cuztomization the most. The only thing GT has that I wish were in FOrza 3 is rain.

Halo 2 was the biggest seller on the xbox1 but why is KOTOR 2 on the top of that list your arguement is invalid we are talking about GT and Forza anyways not GameFaqs.
EDIT: Scratch that i see that you were referring to my fan base point yes you are right a lot of games have fan bases and your point is still irrelevant.
Yeah, I remeber GT4 didnt have that, and that really bothered me.FM3 won't have any licenses other than the ones they already have/had from the start.....You know.....The most iconic... technology driven brands such asFerrari..... Porsche.....Lamborghini...

there are ferraris but no Lambos or Porsches which kinda sucks.[QUOTE="10thwonder"][QUOTE="bronxxbombers"] Yeah, I remeber GT4 didnt have that, and that really bothered me.Rza_rectah

I like that GT4 had allot of strange cars like a 19th century car(I think it was a Ford), Jay Leno's tank car, a Nike futuristic concept car and allot of collector cars.It was awesome.

PBSnipes
- A release date
TBH i dont think that GT5 will beat Forza 3 until they fix those bumpercar physics. seriously, altho it makes it ezier for noob s to just rickashae of things, its not ver realistic is it now?:( Too bad forza isnt coming to PC. **** Microsoft for deserting the pc

Off the top of my head:
- Livery editor
- Deeper tuning options
- Second-to-none online community
- Leaderboards for all disciplines (ie racers, painters and tuners)
- Superior physics engine
- Porsche and Lamborghini licenses
And most importantly:
- A release date
PBSnipes
And THIS is why GT doesn't even come close to Forza.
forza is a failsauce for not having NASCAR firstsethman410
And what would that make GT for not having Ferrari first? Mega Failtacular? ;)

GEOW 2 and COD, also ranbow 6 vegas, those are the games with hardcore and large communites
Forza adds customization that puts GT to shame. That is yet another way Forza dusts GT. When will GT allow players to express themselves like this and the answer is never. Also this is just Forza 2 cars and even though this dusts anything GT has just imagine how much better Forza 3 will be.
it will have the luxery of coming out in the next year. plus customation.
kobraka1
bam, I honestly think im going to choose Forza simply because its coming out this year and isnt taking FOREVER like GT5
You know... just because its in the target render trailer doesn't mean its going to make the final product. Secondly, since whe does having WRC rally cars and NASCAR racing cars mean they are having an actual racing league associated with the licenses?
And since when does having two types of racing cars beat out massive customization for tuning and painting, completely dynamic career mode, a physics engine that rivals PC sims, has enough new features to call this an entirely new series and comes out in less than three months. before GT5 even gets actual gameplay footage.
Sorry GT fanboys... but Forza is now that king... and has been since the first iteration came out on the Xbox.
