Tbh, there are only small differences between the PS4 and XB1 versions such as grass density and lens flares.. that's it. If that's a game changer then people are sad.
If we hadn't seen the PS4 version, or if the PS4 version was the same as the XB1 version, people would have still called it a huge upgrade from the PS3/360 versions. This shouldn't come as much suprise to anyone. The PS4 has a better GPU, and with both being at 1080p, PS4 can simply throw more geometry and effects to screen than the Xbox One. And at a slightly more stable framerate. Why did people expect anything else? Well, I did expect more similar foliage density, but other than that, they are both lookers.
your argument is perfectly valid for a 2007's game comparison between PS3 and Wii, i think its the same position here, one system is next gen (low-mid range next gen) the other system is clearly weaker, staying between past gen and next gen, just like the wii(1) did
@PhazonBlazer: just look at everything too, those nasty ground textures you posted on the "Xbox one" version. No where to be seen in the actual game on Xbox one, plenty of foliage too. Those images certainly seem fake.

They covered the Xbone version and the framerate was pretty locked on 30 fps. I'm curious about the PS4 version since some are saying it drops frames. There PS4 comparision should be out soonish.
@ghostwarrior786: you can't claim ownage without any real proof or links. Right now no one is in denial, nothing has been proved to be true. If DF comparisons show the same thing then a big cow circle jerk will be warranted.

That doesn't debunk it dude,the video doesn't make a head to head comparison to see if the PS4 actually has more,in fact in some parts the difference is smaller..

This is last gen vs this gen,as you can see from the PS3,version is completely barren vs the next gen version even vs the xbox one version is completely barren that screen use is not made up is from the actual xbox one version just a quick look at the PS3 version or 360 one can confirm that.
I call bullshit. Just watched a comparison video. Outside of some lighting differences (that XBox One black issue), they look the same. If there was a big difference like what is shown above, I have not seen it (i went through 5 pages of google search results on "grand theft auto 5 ps4 vs Xbox one").

But the gif in the OP might be right. Because the same bald patches in the land are there in the videos. The Xbone version is still dense in foliage, but the PS4 is just more so.

They look pretty similar in density. Now why hasn't anybody posted the PS4 direct feed shots to compare? I can see that what is supposed to be the XB1 shot in the OP, actually is. But what is the second shot with more dense foliage? Is that PS4 for real or is it doctored? GAF insists it's not. But SonyGAF.
