Graphics VS Gameplay VS Story

I'm not saying that graphics and story aren't important,but that without good gameplay,a game cannot be good.Lair is a perfect example.

I like to see a mix of both but I voted story. Here is why:

While graphics are nice to see it is a minor part of why I buy games. I love games with good gameplay and customization but if there is no storyline then why should I bother? I want something to look forward to as I progress through the game and I want some suspense, some action, some cutscenes. Give me something to hang onto.

i don't care if the story is about evil chickens taking over the world, as long as the gameplay is lengthy and fun, i'm alright with it. graphics aren't as important, but as long as they are decent then im alright with it. idc if game A has characters with slightly more detailed skin than in game B, I meen seriously these graphics comparison pics are so stupid...SoNin360

gameplay graphics then story.

Every game doesn't need a story and sometimes a game that's too story based you can't just play a random part without enjoying it fullly.

Graphics=Atmosphere

Gameplay=Gameplay

They are all equally important. If any one of them is of low-quality, then the overall quality of the game will suffer. Except in non-narrative driven games, then story isn't important at all... but in this day and age, very few games aren't narrative driven.foxhound_fox

GAMEPLAY! Then Graphics. then story

A game without a story can still be fun but a game without graphics is a text adventure (technically the text is graphics so it's not even that).
