[QUOTE="James567"] Firstly i own a Xbox 360 so enough of the lame cow thing.
$40 million is a massive buget for a videogame wasnt gears of war 10 million? And cant really compare film bugets to game bugets
FrozenLiquid
And you also never quoted the Dutch film. So I didn't call you a cow.
Gears was $10 mil. They didn't quote the UE 3.0 costs.
Shenmue, the second most expensive game of all time, is $70,000,000. Too Human is beyond that.
How long has Killzone 2 been in development?
That is true about the UE 3.0. that would up costs alot. However 40 million is still a massive buget althrough i did not know how it ranked against other big buget games but indeed interesting to here aboutShenmue costs.
I dont know how long killzone been in development for but i could make an educated guess. The trailer was realeased 2 years ago and killzone 1 was realeased in 2004 i think. As far as i am aware gurellia hasnt worked on any other projects except killzone liberation i assume they were working with both at the same time. So assuming they started as soon as they finished killzone 1 then i suppose there getting close to 3 years now.
Anyway we re getting away from my orginal point in that someone made the foolish point that sony were gonna let killzone 2 go the way of killzone 1. whilethis could happen it does seem that sony and gurellia are trying there best for this not to happen
