The Wii has been pumping out some great games this year. Next month their is Blast Works and Bloom BloxHarlockJC

I swear it seems like GS hands out high scores too Wii games all the time, but low games to PS3 games all the time. It's the exact opposite almost everywhere else....(save for a few games that truly deserve their score, such as Mario Galaxy)BrownWalrus

Maybe because the Wii has good games and the PS3 has bad games.

Good point Wiiware does come out next month..... De Blob is not due I don't think until later this year. Could be one of the best platform games this year by the look of it. Well right after Banjo.

And I expected a 7.5... eh, great score for a Mario Kart game.

I still have no intentions of buying it, though.

You wanna talk about bad games? Try telling me that 9.1 for Warioware: Smooth Moves is justified, and 7.5 for Ratchet and Clank is justified. Of course you're going to say yes, i wouldn't expect any other answer.

MKWii is AA on GR btw. So no it's not the opposite in this case.

Of course that's wrong, but stop living in the past. Recently they have been pretty spot on with their reviews.

SSBB? AAA, like on Gamerankings.

Mario Kart Wii? AA, like on Gamerankings.

Okami Wii? 9.0, 8.9 on Gamerankings.

How is that overrating Wii games? (Other than No More Heroes, maybe)

As for the PS3, I would say something if it had a decent game that's not on the 360 this year, but it hasn't so I have nothing.

not bashing the game in anyway (im gonna get it on sunday) but 8.5 seems kinda high after what ive heard about the unbalanced items and the next-to-impossible 150cc (from ign's review). oh well ill hope for the best this sunday.JLAudio7

Yeah I agree.

Nintendo definately did not put near as much effort into this as they did SSBB or SMG, which is very dissapointing.

The only reason I'm getting this game is for my sister, who really wants to play it.

lol since when a family game needed balanced weapons? this game is mostly for laugh and pass a good time.
