GT5 in 2009?

Yes, it looks like Polyphony Digital is starting to advertise Gran Turismo 5 already, adding evidence to a late-2009 release.

They are already advertising Gran Turismo making a 2009 release seem more likely.

"Please be advised that the release date currently listed on the website, the 27th November 2009, is as given to us by the publisher/manufacturer of the game. Should this release date change we will update the website accordingly, so it is worth checking Play.com periodically."

Looks like the date came from Sony. Interesting.

That would be awesome. I want to see the FM3 and GT5 battle. And it's really only fair to compare them if they come out around the same time. :)

I'll only be playing GT5 :) because I dont own a 360 :(:P

I never been intrested in car racing games but from all the talk about this game its now on my have to buy list :)

They only had a little teaser at E3 , so I don't think it is coming this year. They would have made a bigger deal about it otherwise , right ? This is Gran Turismo 5 afterall ..... by far their biggest IP.They actually had playable games or gameplay demonstrations of everything that is coming within the next year at E3.GT5 was not one of them.

I'm guessing June 2010 at the earliest considering they already have Heavy Rain , WNC , MLB The Show , God of War III , MNR , Motion controls , all slated for the first half of 2010. But they are probably better off having it for holiday 2010 so they don't get completely crushed under the Halo Reach/Gears 3 hype train. A potential Resistance 3 isn't going tocut it.And they probably want a lot of attention for GT PSP and the Go this year anyway.

We will definately see somthing about GT5 at TGS.
