Or... it could be two other possible things:

1) They are hyping the release of GT Mobile... since that is slated to come out this year and
2) This could very much be another upgrade for Prologue.

It would be nice if Polyphony just stopped being so vague and just gave a definitive date. All this beating around the bush is stupid and makes them look incompetent.

That would be nice if true. If Sony can manage a price cut and bundles this, they could move a lot of consoles.

It seems to me like they're waiting for the PS3 price drop to launch GT5 maybe somewhat like the PSP GO and Gran Turismo for the PSP. I'm guessing nothing will be announced until Sep. and hopefully released by Nov. sometime.

Two top of the line sim racers in one year :shock:.....not sure how I'm gonna split my time between Forza3, and GT5 if both release this year.

With comments like that I find it strange Bio is all of a sudden pumped for GT5 :?....and who would have guessed he even liked GT in the first place with comments like that?

Care to provide any detailed reasons why? I mean, GT fans always say crap like this and NEVER back it up with anything gameplay-related. As a PS3 only owner, I would rather GT5 be the better game (though I'm sure Forza will be amazing as well), but why the hell don't GT fans ever back up their assertions? Forza fans talk alot of smack, but will lay out all the features their game has, talk about physics, customization, etc. and GT fans talk alot of smack and have absolutely nothing to back it up other than their opinion about the graphics and the fact that it was a pioneer back in the day. The cockiness from both sides is really annoying, but it's about 100X more annoying coming from GT fans because they don't ever talk about about gameplay in general, features, physics, customization, etc.

For all we know he may secretly wish for GT5 to *flop* OR actually get *high reviews*. But in the past, his comments haven't reflected the latter. For an analogy: You can't repeatedly steal cookies from the cookie jar and then claim not to be a thief.

Yeah, I think they held back a bit in terms of content for Forza 2, and went all out on Forza 3 because they knew it would come out the same time as GT5
