GT5 demo - Downgrade confirmed

The graphics kill Forza. I am playing on 70Inch HD Projector and the game looks hot. Fair enough that Forza may have the dominant paint jobs and customisation, but that doesnt exactly make it a great game. I rather have great graphics with decent customisation than bogus graphics and deep customisation. Forza graphics can be done on Xbox 1. Forza doesnt even have weather effects either. The only feature forza has over gt is its customising, nothing more.RazMaTaz-1

But I'll admit, it's been a while since I've seen a good screenshot war. From the looks of things, it'll be even longer.

This "demo" has been in development for 2 years... and this is the fruit of 2 years labour... a demo... with 2D trees... and no damage modelling.

Cows put so much emphasis on "next-gen" and then one of their flagship titles is available and looks below-par.

If this were a 360 game there would be about 7 threads about the 2D PS1 tree's and 5 more threads proclaiming the end of microsoft accompanying them.

If this game does not surpass the overall graphical quality of PGR4, I will be highly dissapointed. As of right now PGR4 as a whole is a better looking game by a decent amount. Although GT's cars look better, when I play a racing game, I'm not staring at the cars.SuperVegeta518

a beta is for online testing... a demo is what you said to get buyers interested. and GT5 will look better when the final game is released and all the fanboys who think this is what the final game will look like are just dumb.mattyomo99

PGR4 looks far better... are you serious? Now granted, you're driving through elaborate city environments vs a plain track, but if Polyphony could only do 2D trees and ps1 graphics on the crowds in the stands, I wouldn't expect much when it comes time for them to do a fully rendered city.

the only cool thing about gt5 is the in car view.

but on graphical/level detail forza2 win.

It doesn't look any better than PGR4 when actually playing it except PGR4 has miles better enviorment and car models to match. GT5 enviornments are nasty. -Just being honest:)Pro_wrestler

Then why does Uncharted Look better then any game coming to the 360 this year? Why does the most technically impressive multiplats such as Dirt, Oblivion and DMC4 all look better on PS3? Why does Heavnly sword all look better then anything currently avialable on the 360? And yes I own a 360 gamertag "TheSterls" The PS3 is simply more powerful and it is already proving it. Its just going to become more apparent as time goes on.

GT5P looks amazing...100X better than Forza 2.

Compared to PGR4, GT5P has way waaayy better car models...but PGR4 has the edge on the envioronments.

the graphics for the car models in GT5 do look better than any other game I have seen...PGR4 looks amazing in enviroments and the car models are excellent as well...for me both game look incredible and there really is no ownership either way on the graphics...

as far as gameplay I love the way PGR plays and the variety of race types makes it not as repetitive...

I am really concerned about the bumper cars on display thus far from GT also there really didn't seem to be much of a penalty for going off the track...I am sorry its not all about graphics and car models and while it looks like GT is headed in the right direction when it comes to gameplay and features it still has a long way to go to compete will Forza or PGR

Uncharted looks better then every 360 game and it utterly stomps Gears of War in every single aspect that you can rate graphics on a game. . Anyone want to do some comparison pics and emberace him? Because I have seen the differnce and Gears gets gets stomped by Uncharted anyone but the lamest of fanboys would agree.

PGR4 720p/30fps

compared to....

GT5P 1080p/60fps

= LOL....... GT5P looks better and is working alot harder to achieve these graphics......

as far as trees/damage/sounds and such........if it bothers u..... its a demo......lets wait till the game comes out......right now the game looks amazing.....and "in car" view is so lifelike... its crazy......
