Isn't complaining about GT5P's graphics sort of pointless when it looks better than any other racer out there?espoac
got that right

lovely carmodels you mean?
The whole game looks awesome to me, best I've seen so far this generation. Anyone trying to nitpick is just being ridiculous at this point. The game is amazing.
yet all you talk about is looks.
Since when?? But since you asked, I think GT offers a better game experience than any game on X360. The simple fact that Microsoft doesn't allow people to use a 3rd party wheel is reason alone Forza will never be as good as a driving game as GT.
4D - Related to Time - Can be done
120FPS - Proven by Devil May Cry 4 team it can be done. DMC4 was capable of running at 120FPS on Ps3 and PC, but restricted it to 60 because 120 is not exactly noticable to the naked eye. (Edge mag, PSM)
At the moment, i still think Uncharted is pushin PS3 more than GT5.

Well if you have a hdtv with 120hz then wouldn't all games be in 120fps?
Demo, preview, call it what you will. It's still an utterly broken mess. Let me elaborate.
-An online calendar which is around 26 days slow
-3 game modes and 6 tracks. This ISN'T "lots of content"
-Other cars in the time trials ruining your race
-Absolutely horrendous lag in every online race
-Completely broken penalty system that actually punishes people for being rammed off the road.
-Incredibly unresponsive and slow menus
-You have to set the number of laps you do in Arcade mode on the OPTIONS menu. I see no logic in this what so ever.
-The neccesity to have to grind races to get better cars to do the other races, only to be made to stard grinding all over again.
-No replays online.
-Incredibly dumb community who would be better off on dodgems.
-Overtaking events where everyone is in the same car. Let's get this straight....you start form the last place, and have to overtake 15 opponents who are all in the same car and going full-pelt on a perfect racing line. Can anyone explain to me how this is even possible? Especially on the Daytona track.
-6gb Install for very little content.

My friend uses a Mad Catz wheel on Forza 2......
I've used a Mad Catz wheel on Forza 2 :?

Yes. People just like to find reasons to bash it. "I see one jaggie, it looks like crap "
"Its an unfinished product"
"The price"
"People are getting ripped off"
blah blah blah, but this happens to all games.
All I'm seeing is "it's a demo" yeah, it's a demo you're having to fork out quiet a bit of money for (considering it *is* a demo) and it's not up to scratch?
How can you price something that isn't up to standards? It's like making you pay full price to play a beta.

You should stop listening to Xbox fans then, they are the ones calling it a demo.
Personally it's worth the $40 and it's ironic that X360 fans are complaining when they don't even have a PS3 to play it on.
Kind've shows you how bad they really want it.Motorstorm? All I'm seeing is "it's a demo" yeah, it's a demo you're having to fork out quiet a bit of money for (considering it *is* a demo) and it's not up to scratch?

it doesn't offer ANY gameplay experience.. it isn't even a proper game... you are pretending that you are driving a car in circles.
It's nintendogs for boys.. except nintendogs has gameplay.. forza2 is just as boring.. (well, it does have damage and more options)
I have been playing GT5 for the last 2 days and nights and have realised that the game and polyphony digital are pushing the PS3 to far. I can really appreciate PD's ambition but they need to realise the PS3 is not as powerful as sony claim.
The game is sacrificing track detail to get so many cars on the track. I would rather have 6 or 8 cars on track if it give me better track details like 3D trees and skid marks. The track tarmac is lacking and the trees are last generation 2D.
The front end and presentation are first class but there is slowdown and screen tear. I know its a demo but I do't think PD will pull it off.
I think TURN10 will have forza3 nearly completed by the time GT5 comes out and it will most likely build on what was missing in forza2.
Where are the reverse lights, permanent skid marks on track, realistic tyre noises, proper engine sounds, turbo whine when using turbo cars, full camera control around car when playing 3rd person, the decent opponent A.I.?
The london track has slowdown even with only 1 car and poor trackside detail and the building detail and texture is quite poor compared to PGR4's london.
Polyphont digital really, really has its work cut out.
The crowds and spectators are pathetic. Maybe PGR4 and forza 2 has spoiled me to much and I was expecting to much from GT5 but GT5 is meant to be the daddy of racing games. By the quality of and (I know its a demo) this my attitudes are not optimistic.

Slowdowns and screen tears? Is your PS3 overheating or something? My copy of GT5 Prologue doesnt experience any of this. And it actually does look pretty nice. Sounds to me like youre trying to sell an xbox360
Because he paid top-dollar for it?Excuse you, but you did NOT play GT5... You played GT5 Prologue. Why are you complaining about a unfinished game?

...wow a demo doesnt have the polish of a full game..who would have thoughtstereointegrityhe paid full-game money for it, though.

He shouldn't have bought it then if he didn't want an unfinished game.
You would think the "Prologue" part of the title is enough of an indication.

What about the Supercharger wine (Played Forza 2 with a Z06 corvette + Supercharger) That superchrager wine is awesome.
[QUOTE="daveg1"]everyone needs to realise the ps3 isnt what sonys claims.C_BozkurT_Ccare to elaborate?
A super computer than can do 4d at 120fps in midair while doing a backflip to land perfectly
I love racing games, I love the Forza Motorsport, and I loved gt3-4. That said polyfonny (yeahh that's right FONNY) needs to cut those endurance races less than 15 laps, and make them like Forza endurance laps; More Challenging1
I understand if you are playing the demo that it may not be detail fully. GT5 Prologue has noticeably better graphics than the demo.
I love GT, but I wish they would add some type of damage in the final version.

So tell me when u play online games u rather look at the ground textures then win the race, or better yet while playing call of duty 4, u rather run around and look at the floor then kill enemy's? I mean wtf has gotten into alot of u gamers now days? I mean the littlest things and u complain about it like it ruined the game or something. I know its your opinion but seriously man I dont play games to see how great the tracks look or how amazing the dirt looks, I play them if they are fun, if the graphics are beautiful then thats a plus but I hear so many complaints about little things like this. I mean I can understand if the graphics of the whole game was dissappointing then thats fine but when u point out something like track looks so dull, it just kills it, because other then what u just said GT5 is still the best looking game of its type to date.
