[QUOTE="3picuri3"][QUOTE="Albanian_Killa"] [QUOTE="3picuri3"]wow, a lot of sony / polyphony apologists in this thread ;) but i thought next gen didn't start until Sony said it did... ffs even original xbox racers had private matches and voice build in. i can see how sony survives now though with all these people that at one moment hype the next gen features and free psn, then turn around and say they don't care about voice or online. hi-larious.Albanian_Killa
You do know this is not the final product...The final product is GT5. This is a Prologue. You ever read a script for English class, they always have Prologues (ex. Romeo and Juliet). This is like that. It's NOT a demo, but a Prologue.
lmao. splitting hairs pally.
i'll try to help you understand. outline to me what a demo is, what it includes, what it represents - then outline what a prologue is, what is inclued, and what it represents. i'll make this like english class :)
Oh no you didn't!
lol, ok, I'll tell you what a demo is and what a Prologue is. I thought people knew this.
First, a demo shows one part/one level of a game. They don't outline what the game is about as much, but they give you a small taste of the gameplay. They don't offer many features, or many options such as weapons, etc. They most likely don't offer online gameplay,
Now, GT5:Prologue offers 60+ cars. PGR3 had around 90. It offers more than one track. It offers tuning options (not found in the Japanese version). It offers a storyline (build your way up to the best by winning races and buying cars, etc.). It offers a video service GTTV. It offers different options that are customizable such as controls, video, audio, anything you want. It offers full online with 16 players. It also offers events, and a weather tracker meaning it'll show the weather on a certain track as it's happening via Internet connection.
Make it clear? To sum it all up, a Prologue offers a lot more than a demo. A demo you can finish in 10 minutes and be done with it. A Prologue you'll have a while with it, and for the GT fans, it's enough for us until GT5 comes out. As Apu from The Simpsons says, Thank you come again!
that's what i think. i rather buy this so called "demo" and having fun playing it, than having to wait until spring 09 to get GT5 and for all those who complain about selling a demo, nobody forces you to buy it. GT fans will enjoy prologue for sure.
