I was heavily disapointed by gta4, because it was just boring, it remove a lot of fun things that previous gta had. But just because gta4 was disaspointment doesn't meant that future gta will suck as much as gta4 did. Any franchise can drop the ball once. Obviously I would be glad if they made a Ps3 exclusive cause I think that the game would be of a higher production, no disrespect to 360. But I doubt it will be an exclusive since it sold more on the 360 then it did on the ps3da_illest101

We don't know yet since they won't start working on the 360 port until after they finish the PS3 version. It is unknown how much they will have to compress the game, if at all, if anything has to be cut out, etc.

GTA was not exclusive on PS2, they only got it 6months earlier than ms, at best. I own both consoles, but prefer PS machines. I only care about Sony 1st party titles, and Insomniac, Naughty Dog and such being exclusive. It's good that machines have good exclusives like that. But GTA is a 3rd party game, made for a mass audience, and I do not care that it is multiplat....It is good that all console owners can get the game.

And to the dude saying PS3 owners complained that GTA4 was no good...That is mere fabrication on your part, as gamers in general complained the game was no good and over rated, so stop being a xbot.

I would actually prefer the developers of Rage to make Rage PS3 exclusive, so the game does not get handicapped due to disk space limitations governing all versions, due to 360's smaller capacity disks.

It should be. Rockstar confirmed that they were going PS3 exclusive after GTAIV launch.

Why do people even play GTA?

All I wanted to do in IV was cause complete and utter mayhem at an airport, but you can't even destroy anything. It's just the same as everywhere else in the game. You kill people and cops chase you and you can only enter about 1 out of every 100 buildings. I'm sorry if I sound simple-minded, but where is the freedom in that?

360 has DLC over the PS3 version and sony don't invest their money in DLC, so maybe they will invest in GTA5

and, if gta 5 comes out multiplat, graphics and sound will be much better on PS3/PC than 360

Seriously folks, it doesn't take an economical genius to figure out why this rumor is absolute bunk. Firstly, as mentioned, the PS3 version of GTAIV sold less than the 360 version. Two, we've all seen how Microsoft is willing to be alot more supportive towards third-party devs than Sony this generation. Thirdly, the considerable sales on both consoles of GTAIV means that unless they recieved a VERY sizable 'donation' from Sony/MS, GTAV is not going to be a system exclusive title.

Possible Reasons

1. More Space there is something called two disks

2. Better quality game graphically that must be why GTA IV looks the same on the 360 and the PS3:roll:

3.Internal Help from Sony I dint know R* needed help or microsoft is unable to give it

4. PS3 DLC could make up for losses yea because all PS3 owners have PSN, and all with PSN will buy it

5. Lower Costs explain

6. Fanbase on PS3 from previous PS2 owners, more potential buyers( previous games sold more on PS2, than on Xbox,PS3,360 combined) yea PS2 sold more than 140 million and the PS3 has sold a little over 20 million so unless 120 million people have stopped gaming they have bought Wiis, 360's or stayed with the PS2

Not unless they said that in the last month, because last I saw, they said they were finishing up the PS3 version, which they've been working on for a long time, and not until then will they start working on the 360 version. The PS3 version is being released this year in Japan as well. Everyone else has to wait till 2010 unless North American PS3 owners want to import the Japanese version.

However, Square is releasing a 1-2 hour FF XIII PS3 demo that is also compatible with North American PS3s and has options for English or Japanese voice acting.
