GTA ChinaTown Wars First Screens and Info

What the hell are the whores complaining? It looks like GTA's back on it's roots. You know, those few first GTA's were HC. And the cartoony graphics look great. The two first screens are obviously stretched. It won't look like those. Even a retard should know that.Son_of_Some

Yes they are, you can tell by looking at the other pictures which are a lot smaller and look a lot better

The people still look horrible in the smaller shots and that's what I think most people are complaining about. They look like indistinguishable blobs.

The car screens do look pretty slick though.

The trees and character models in the 1st couple of shots looked dreadful but I thought the cars looked pretty cool, an upgraded version of the cars in the PS1 versions

Looks better than I expected. I was expecting top down with 2D sprites but it appears semi-top down with 3D models.Devil-Itachi

Semi-Top down looks pretty good but I was hoping for like a Quarter top down (Like killzone liberation on PSP)

if you have ever played the 2D gta's there alot of fun..the Saving was horrible though..

IDK..i think it looks ok for the ds..im putting the game in motion in my head and it seems like its workable..i think it could do well as long as the controls story and gameplay is down.

then again im used to isometric (diablo) and Cel shaded (Jet grind radio) games..so it looks good to me.

Agreed, with a couple cars on screen, interesting looking building (with a lot less jaggies), nice lighting effects and the screenshot is full of action!

If the rest of the game is like this I'll be satisfied

It doesn't. The colors look washed out. But how about the fact that you're playing it on a screen 1/10th the size of a normal television?

Look at what the GBA can do when pushed to its limits

Deep down I knew that the ds could easily do GTA gameplay like that if pushed to its limits and if there was a company that could do that it would be rockstar

But I guess they can't

Still watching that video really shocked me

If the GBA could do that then what could the DS do once pushed to its limits?!

Imagine what GTA would of looked like if rockstar had just tried a view like that :(
