GTA V PC Looks almost identical to Ps4. #wait4mods?

Good job, Rockstar; you got some people to buy this game three times with scant graphical improvements the third time.

So the PS4 version is light years ahead of the Xbox One version but the PC and PS4 are practically the same thing? The resolution and performance differences are just minor things when comparing these two right? I'm just trying to make sure we are all on the same page.

- Resolution and Framerate only matter when PS4 > Xbox One
- Sales only matter when Sony > Nintendo and M$
- Metacritic only matters when > Gamespot score
- Digital Foundry is only to be taken seriously when PS4 beats Xbox One. Anything else is "Lol forced parity/ M$ payed them off.

PS: There are many other things like draw distance, texture quality, lighting, population density and AA that make the PC version far superior. And this is to be expected. Better hardware produces better results, just like all of the Cows here will let you know.

No, that's not what I said. I was just speaking about the topic that he started. Of course gaming PCs run the game at a plethora of better framerate and resolution combinations.

Also on your note, I think you should watch the video. It's actually surprising and kind of funny that Rockstar got away with it.

@X_CAPCOM_X: I don't need to watch the video. I have the game on Xbox 360, PS4 and PC. I can cover the fanboy spectrum all on my own. Anyone who says "I can't tell the difference" just proves the videos don't do it justice.

In the end it's the same game. So if you played it 1 1/2 years ago you aren't missing much. But to say the game doesn't look a ton better is asinine. Because we all know if it were a PS4 version of a 1 1/2 year old XB1 game we would be hearing about it.

Also I didn't get the game on any platform, because I knew they would pull this off.

it's a crappy youtube video. Seeing the game in person > youtube video. If he has the on 360, PS4, and PC why the hell would he need a video to see what he already saw and knows? Yes ignore what you see in front of your face with your own eyes go check out a compressed youtube video that has the other two version magically running at a steady 60fps because that is what they really run like. Yeah ok makes all the sense in the world...

The game looks great on the PS4, I wouldn't complain, especially if you get to play it at 60 frames per second.

That video is a poor representation of the game on PC. It looks amazing. Here's a screenshot I took, and this is only in 1080. It looks just as good in motion too.

Hehe. That's to be expected. The PCs superiority is vastly overestimated by its silly fanbase.

I've only seen videos so far which won't help but i could only notice a bit of a bump in the sharpness, a good increase in AA and the draw distances. The framerate is much better though. Maybe the fire effects got an improvement but i couldn't say 100%.

It's not the huge leap i think some expected but there's still a comfortable upgrade in there. I think mods will do a lot more to help the textures which don't seem different to me and are the most visible think if you're going to do screenshot wars.

I was wrong. Rockstar did everything to prevent modding of GTA5, so at this moment impossible to do anything via editing game files. All my buddies modders share the same opinion, that GTA is short living like any other game whithout mods, so i do not care about modding it unless:

1) modding will be possible by changes in future patches or when drm and encryption will be hacked.

2) when game will have stable patch which works for every player.

3) i don't see much potency to modify the game, just a few minor changes without "wow" effects, just make it possible to tweak everything is definetly not for first day players, so better give it some time and see, perhaps game will be dead very soon (see p1).

4) at this moment i have so many problems, that first question is for me how not finish in suicide.

Crazy to see that this game is potentially UN modable.

Then again, that was from ENB Forums which to my understanding, the ENB Series has problems with games running with DX11 or better.

Which is why none of the mods for Dark souls 2 work for the DX11 version.

There is no way you'll convince the half dozen or so, idiot PS4 fantrolls that thier shitty little toy is a shitty little toy. They think some crappy Youtube video is representative of what you and I see on our montiors when playing the game. There are even guys on here with all three versions saying the PC port is vastly better and still others argue that a compressed video is more conclusive than actual experience.

It's really not worth the bother.

Like with most PC versions of a game, it will vary from system to system. You really need to have a beastly system if you truly want to see ground breaking differences between PS4 and PC of the same game. I have no doubt that with the right specs a PC would far surpass that of the PS4. You can't just have a PC and expect every game to look significantly better than PS4. You must have the gear capable of taking it to that next level. Having said that, I was very impressed with how it looked on PS4.

60 FPS looks light years diff then 30, when you are driving around or playing the game its like every framte is just captured its so insane with the ps4 version you can feel the choppiness of it an slowly turning as the screen catches up

with 60 fps evrything just happens instantly you move the thing moves with 30 fps thats not how games work

60 FPS > PS4 end of discussion theres no use even talking about it like frames is the best thing u can get in video games period the sooner cows realize that the better off there lives will be

Reminds me of the law of diminishing returns.

You can increase your PC hardware power as much as you want, but since the software doesn't improve as much, you only get a slightly better experience (and sometimes a worse one).

Its not so bad hermits, just wait 6 more months for the first mods and then maybe then it will look better then the ps4 version
