GTA V Trailer Released

People who are comparing the trailers graphics to GTAIV PC ICENHANCER modded graphics need check themselves. The trailer is obviously using footage from the console versions, so no s*** its gonna look worse. Current gen consoles would never be able to render anything close to GTAIV ICENHANCER.

Regardless, the trailer's graphics still look fantastic, and the PC version with ICENHANCER will be even better :D

Looks awesome, what GTA4 should have been. I also saw many outdoor areas aswell like the forest and the mountain and the desert ect... So I'm glad they are giving more than just boring city with grey walls. Also they showed off an airplane so I'm hoping you can pilot them this time too. As for the main charecter he sounds like Ray Liota and looked kind of like Tony Cipriani from LCS or Tommy Vercitty from Vice City. Looks great!

No release date yet unfortunately, but I woul guess sometime in the spring or summer next year since that's when Rockstar usually releases their games. And it will be on PS3 and 360 definately and will probably come to PC later.

Well they did show off a desert so it's possible that was based off Nevada, of course it could just be southern or eastern California. But still there's a chance!

That looked far, far too good to be running on the PS3/360. I'm betting it's PC/Wii-U footage.

I think it's Tommy also, but the weather comment makes no sense. Vice City is Miami Florida so the weather is just as nice as California, even better because there is less polution in Florida.

Well to be fair having visited both places frequently, Miami is unbearable when its 100 degrees with 100% humitiy while you get almost no/low humitiy in Socal...Socal is like amazing weather all the time.

That is true, florida is VERY humid and it's hard to excercise whenI was there. I've been to both aswell but only LA in California, which I didn't enjoy asmuch because of the polution and crazy taxes on everything. I visit Miami regularly because I'm of Jewish desecent and Florida is full of them :P

But I do see your point.

So looking forward to this. Unlike most people here I loved GTA IV so if it keeps the same tone - and the trailer makes me think it will - this will be a preorder for sure.

The games setting seems modern, air planes/jets comfirmed, bikes comfirmed (the scene where the guy is putting a for sale sign into the ground, in the background there is a bikecycle), seems like you'll be able to buy safe houses, it also seems like there will be multiple protagonist, and dogs. I probably missed some things, but so far I am very hyped for this.

I am like 95% sure that this game will launch in mid to late 2012. Possibly on the Wii U. But even if its not (I will be dissapointed though) I'll get the 360 verson then.

Really can't wait for this. I'm a massive fan of open world, sandbox games, and as such I hold Grand Theft Auto in high regard. Whilst GTA4 had it's shortcomings (through a lack of 'fun') the gameplay was still fantastic, and the DLC improved on that even further. Rockstar have yet to disappoint me, and I'm always struck by how 'fresh' their games feel when I first boot them up. Can't wait to start GTA 5 and explore what looks like a genuinely believable, and highly detailed world again. Also...jets. Jets! Ravensmash

I hope the online is similar to that of RDR, not wild west but you know, having a huge map you can run aroundwith friends in and attack people :P Have some level system like RDR and you cand do gang terrorites for mroe xp or something, I don't know just roll with it....
