According toMazingerDUDE from Gaf and just so you know, he is very credible, so maybe the console graphic king posts should end.

This is hardly confirmed to be true, so no, they shouldn't end.
And even if it is, that still doesn't say anything about what the console versions will look like.
[QUOTE="TintedEyes"]As far as I'm concerned, his word is as credible as ours. Well its the same guy who found out the FFXIII resolution on 360, the Alan Wake sub-HD resolution and RDR resolution, plus he has been on DigitalFoundry, something tells me he knows what he is talking about.According toMazingerDUDE from Gaf and just so you know, he is very credible, so maybe the console graphic king posts should end.

[QUOTE="mo0ksi"]I doubt that it's the PC version. It seems pretty obvious that a gamepad is being used.Solletnot that anyone would do it, but you can play pc games with a 360 controller..... why? I play my pc games with my ps3 controller, I can't stand k/m

Being able to spot resolutions doesn't mean you can confirm the version of a game running... Plus look @ adrianwerner's post.
Wasn't as good looking as crysis 1, no aa, low fps, no vsinc...... it's the console version. SAGE_OF_FIRENo AA?
Gameplay footage you see on the net will ussualy be film quality therefore 480p and at 24fps, so its impossible to tell. Although so far they have done game play with the 360 and tech demo's on PS3 and 360 soI would say its 360 footage.
It's from a console. The movement of the character was far to stiff for a PC mouse.

Everyone thought that it was running on 360, but it was confirmed later that it was PC version + 360 controller :)

Film quality is much higher than that lol (Most Roll Film is 4k by 2k, not 480p). You mean SD quality? Then yes, it will be 480p.
even though i believe it is obviously from the console version they could easily be playing with a controller for some reason on pc. as far as im concerned no one knows what developers have at their disposal. or what/how they record their gameplay footage. whatever they are using could possibly be causing some screen tearing. maybe they have not yet locked the framerate on the 360 version yet and at one point the frame buffer was going faster than the refresh rate. sooo many reasons we cannot fathom what developers are doing. It's from a console. The movement of the character was far to stiff for a PC mouse.

why? I think they said it was done to appeal to more people. To be honest? That footage being from pc is not impossible. Just like Brink was shown on pc with a x360 gamepad. If its the pc version then i am happy. I really dont mind the way it looks or plays in that video.dakan45
Like I said, it's definitely not impossible. It's just unlikely.

I believe it is the console version. If so then by cows own admission this is the console graphics king after all of this DC.
Or they just don't want to show more than one level. The damage control fails in a basic: why and how can be the PC version if the level showed is the same that was showed to the press in the NY Tribeca and London's EA showcase, in both cases running in a 360?
End of the story.

People, People take it easy. It's believable that this is the PC version. Why? Because a the computer that can run this at full doesn't exist yet.

But how does that explain this footage looking worse than Crysis 1?

Ran on low settings so it could be captured? I don't know. Not saying it wasn't the console versions either. The best we can do is wait for a confirmation or wait for some gameplay. If this is console it looks damn good.Yeah, and since MazingerDUDE has been right so many times before its probably PC, on low settings maybe.People, People take it easy. That's bad logic. How many times he's been right has no bearing on whether this is PC or console footage. None at all.
[QUOTE="AdrianWerner"]I can tell you for sure (well...99,9% sure ;) ) that it's 360 version. I've been to EA events and they've shown Crysis 2 on 360 there, exactly the same level and sequences and it looked exactly like thatdesigner-Why is this post being ignored? i don't know *bumping interesting post*

It's anecdotal. I personally believe him, but it's still anecdotal evidence.
