Like the 58xx from ATi this will be probably 3x-4x stronger than ALL CONSOLES COMBINED.

I thought Nvidia stopped making these sort of things... could be me though.
this is super awesome awesomeness
I still will not buy one. They are going to be hella expensive. Would rather just wait it out and see what ATIs next line are cards will be so top these. Or ill just buy one of ATIs cards now after they drop in price because of this.Killfoxya new cards are really expensive. I think i'm just gonna buy a new power supply and double up my 4850's

It is bringing a hell of lot of new stuff to gaming, I'll give you a link....http://www.hardocp.com/article/2010/01/17/nvidias_fermi_gf100_facts_opinions/ This GPU can do Ray Tracing and much much more which is why it took a long time to develop. Whole new architecture.

A 600W power supply? Damn... imagine running SLI with 3 of those along with a heavy duty I7, and everything overclocked. You'd need a goddamn seperate fission reactor

I realize I don't know too much about the PC gaming side of life, but what the hell are you going to need 3 of those damn cards for?
yeah too bad a card like that wouldn't be able to handle a graphical masterpiece like GoW3 or Uncharted 2Silenthps
It's not that the card can't handle these games... in fact, should they ever be ported (never) and ported well, I expect neither would particularly tax anyone's hardware.

Not an awful lot, except bragging about how good your pc runs crysis :P

To run Crysis 2560x1600 8xAA @ 100fps ^^yeah too bad a card like that wouldn't be able to handle a graphical masterpiece like GoW3 or Uncharted 2 (!)

You do know that site was confirmed fake by Nvidia right? Just a no name site trying to get attention.$700 for that ...http://www.sabrepc.com/p-174-nvidia-geforce-gtx-480-2gb-gddr5-pci-express-x16.aspx...

We've heard crow doesn't taste very good anyway, and lucky for us, we're not about to find out - it looks like we were right on the money in calling this one a hoax. Not only has SabrePC since taken the pre-order product page down, but the whole site appears to be in a state of disorder. You now need a username and password to enter the site, which presumably no one has, save for SabrePC's staff."

Prices will adjust on both sides post launch, they are probably milking the day one hype buyers.
If ATI's solution ends up performing better; the price will drop to stay competitive. If it ends up performing higher; ATI will adjust their prices to remain competitive.
Win win whoever you go with, provided you are patient enough to see their reactions.

Nvidia 3D Vision DX11 Physx etc. Checkout that link I posted.
Isnt it just all about the games? Fancy tech is great but in the end I would choose an additional library to choose from over getting a game I already have look better...You do know that site was confirmed fake by Nvidia right? Just a no name site trying to get attention.[QUOTE="NVIDIATI"]

even if it isn't official yet, do a little research on Fermi, Yields are low in comparison to the radeon and the chip is incredibly complex and difficult to manufacture so that may actually the asking price at launch.

Real or not, what I said is still the case :)
Agreed. Though I already purchased a 5870 last year I may consider picking up another one at some point to CF. Though if Nvidia can pull through I may hold off and let the card run its course and buy a Nvidia card next year when I build a new PC. Then again ATI may have a better card at the time so who knows. :P Though waiting never hurts, I mean the 8800GT was easily worth the wait :)[QUOTE="AnnoyedDragon"][QUOTE="Instashot"] Not real, http://hothardware.com/News/Fermi-Preorder-Page-Fuels-Speculation-and-Comical-User-Reviews/NVIDIATI

dirt 2, bfbc2, the new stalker, AvP, battleforge, metro 2033, and more later on in the year. Im looking forward to crysis 2 the most though.[QUOTE="dontshackzmii"]That is because Nvidia took time to develop a new architecture rather than ATi who didn't. The G400 series will be better than ATi's card. Thats speculation on your part my friend. And ATI is always first to dive into new architectures. Read up son. http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3740ati is much better these days .
