A 600W power supply? Damn... imagine running SLI with 3 of those along with a heavy duty I7, and everything overclocked. You'd need a goddamn seperate fission reactor

I realize I don't know too much about the PC gaming side of life, but what the hell are you going to need 3 of those damn cards for?

It's not that the card can't handle these games... in fact, should they ever be ported (never) and ported well, I expect neither would particularly tax anyone's hardware.

Rather get the 5970.

gtx 470 looks tempting for my new build this summer 299 and it performs supposedly like a 5870................, hopefully the 5850 drops to like 250 so i might get that cheaper one instead

even if it isn't official yet, do a little research on Fermi, Yields are low in comparison to the radeon and the chip is incredibly complex and difficult to manufacture so that may actually the asking price at launch.
