Guerrilla Games actually made it !

I just bought it today, and I'm really liking it so far. Pretty sure I'm gonna love it.

Nothing specifically with the game.

Some elements in the garbage gaming press have tried to spin Horizon as some sort of SJW/Feminst victory because there is a female main character. That crap has lead some people to assume the game is actually some sort of SJW/Feminist ideology vehicle.

Probably not going to happen since Mikami has stepped down from being a director.

I don't like SJWs or their influence on media, games, music or movies because I think its a threat to our freedom. At the same time I am really enjoying Horizon and I do not see any SJW agenda being pushed or influence. It's a great game with a female lead doesn't make it sjw.

Also those that say it is like far cry have not played horizon, the game is totally different and plays nothing a like, outside the fact humans are tribes. Very poor excuse to put a game down for people that have not played it.

The Killzone 2 realtime PS3 reveal and the subsequent amazing reviews it got were the single most epic ego destruction of a fanbase in the history of the console market.

You had Xbox fans who entire identity was entirely based off two things:

* Those dreadfully mediocre shiny green power ranger games

* The hilariously delusional belief that the Xbox 360 could put out PS3 level graphics

Killzone 2 singlehandled made a complete mockery of the entire Xbox fanbase. It was glorious.

The pain from that utter humiliation GG dished out will linger for the rest of their lives as displayed here in this thread.

I often look forward to your rants and shit. But I thank my creator DAILY for individual tastes. I wouldn't still be gaming if I disliked as much as you do.

I just traded in RE7 and Uncharted 4 to get $30, then used Gamestop points to pay for all but $5 in order to get Horizon today. This was my most anticipated PS4 game until my broham getyeryayas told me give Nioh another look and I went with that for Feb.

I have a Sony Bravia 4k HDR tv and this game is great looking. Witcher 3 PC is the only game I have played myself that matches it.

As for the game, because graphics are not a game, they are pretty window dressing, well I'll take my time on that.

I wouldn't say "amazing", but it more than held it's own against the competition of it's time, and in many ways was superior. But it needed that extra coat of polish. KZ3 I felt was better than 2 in every respect. It ran smoother, and people somehow attributed that to "trying to be CoD". No, I think it just played faster because of the engine technically being able to run better than KZ2. Of course the one HUGE flaw KZ3 had was that the online was more streamlined/barebones at launch vs. KZ2. For me, all that mattered was Warzone, and that was there... but the lack of a server browseer, clans, and custom settings at launch was a huge no-no. I know that turned off a bunch of the hardcore KZ2 players that basically went back to KZ2 (i.e. the online in KZ3 died long before the online in KZ2). Of course this stuff was rectified and KZ3 ended up great, but by then it was too late.
