Uh no, let me reiterate. The ground is frozen, if you stay in the ground, you die. If people come to save you, they die. You are down until the boss is stunned. Furthermore, autoattacking not only is worth almost no credit, but you don't do any damage to the boss until it is in it's stunned state, which you will presumably spend the entirety of being revived because you are the kind of person who tries auto attacking the claw of jormag, and not the adds or walls.

At the start afk near the turrets, then afk in the little dirt stop to his left. EZ. Let the zerg do all the work for you. You never have to get anywhere near his death zone.

Its far from carebear. It just makes the gameplay messy. And the fact most encounters make melee my preferred style of play irrelevant just turns me off that much more.

No healers? That's great! So tired of MMO's where all you do is wait around for hours begging and praying to find someone who was willing to play the most boring class.

But that's not true either. Every class has abilities for healing, defense, and control. Encounters and dungeons are balanced around you coordinating abilities and targets with your party, as well as understanding movement in and out of combat, who is going down, and maximizing conditions and boons. Having done 6/8 of the story modes and a few explorable modes, I feel pretty comfortable in saying that if you have an intelligent and appropriately built party, 90% of the fights can be managed coherently, with only the occasional fight being genuinely unbalanced or broken.

Circlestrafe + Roll. My melee does fine in 80 explore. This isn't carebear WoW.

Why do you assume I'm bad at melee? Has nothing to do with being bad, it's just far more efficient to be ranged than melee.
