Half-life 3, Starcraft 2, Battlefield 3 = Rise of PC gaming.

The Orange Box ran the same on the 360 compared to a PC with settings maxed...

That being said, Half-Life is meant for the PC.

Which is a game that came out in 2004....a year before the 360 even came out. It would be sad if the 360 couldn't run it maxxed......

So blowing up 2 cities of Japan with Atomic Bombs so that future generations would born as handicapped is called "taking care"

Wow, learn your history buddy. If we didn't drop the two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, there would of been at least a million American lives lost in the invasion of Japan. Not to mention millions upon millions of Japanese lives, including much, much more civilians than those who died from the two bombs..........what would you do? And by the way, we did not start the war. Japan belived that war with the U.S. was inevitable.

im not saying that us shuldnt have attacked japan . But dropping Atomic bombs ? - and u ur self must know what is happening now in those 2 cities

I never said that you said the U.S. shouldn't of attacked. Did you even read my post? Millions upon millions of American AND Japanese lives would of been lost (more Japanese than Americans actually, including civilians) if we did not drop the two bombs. You also have to understand that the world back then was not the same as it is today. No one really knew of the power of atomic bombs. They were brand new weapon. It's not like today where if a country attacked another country with a nuke WWIII would break out and there would be mass chaos. There wasn't nuclear tension like there is today.

Here were the choices:

A: Invade Japan, costing more than a million American lives and millions of Japanese lives, much more resources, and extending the war for a lot longer.

or

B: Use this brand new weapon that will end the war and save both sides millions of lives, money, resources and time. Not to mention Germany was busy trying to develop their own nukes.

You should be able to understand why those two nukes were dropped.......

and this is US only...unlike with Consoles, the biggest market for PC games has always been Europe...in fact the Germany PC gaming market alone is larger than the US PC gaming market..thats why even spore is coming to Europe before the US.

I have been referring to North America all along because I happen to live here therefore I am giving my views for this region. Secondly, the article states that 2 billion in sales is for handhelds so guess where the remaining 16 billion goes?

Actually afaik Xbox360 runs it at 30fps with no AA and 720p (1280 x 720), my PC (nothing in it newer than march 06) runs it at 40 fps+ (mostly around 60-70 but it drops to the 40s in explosionfests) 1280 x 1024 and 4x AA. As for the whole rise thing it when was it down? 07 was pretty good for PC (STALKER, The Witcher, World in Conflict, Crysis etc).
