ok, were getting the game 2 months after you do........so yes, i will enjoy getting the game with superior driving physics, superior graphics, literally more than double the content(2x the cars, 2x the tracks) and everything forza 3 will have and more. the only thing forza3 has over GT was engine swapping(confirmed for GT5),Lambo/ferrari (just confirmed 2 days ago for GT5, and....uh........oh and damage(confirmed for GT5, and will most likely be better)

LOL GT5 will likely outsell the entire forza franchise.

Oh I know all about the ridiculous number of preordersGT5: Prologue received and the high sales it enjoyed. I also know that Forza 2 outsold it and I highly doubt Forza 3 will have trouble outselling it as well. As far as GT5 is concerned, we'll see how well it does when it finally launches.

Or... just because you own a 360 doesn't mean you have to love Halo. I have all three systems and to me, I just couldn't get into Halo 3. I tried, I honestly tried. I have the game (bought it over last xmas for 20 bucks in Canada), the single player campaign got boring. And as for the MP, I sucked too much at it and lost interest in trying to get good at it, whereas for COD, I'd consider myself pretty good. I guess for me, I don't like the sci-fi atmosphere, for the same reason I don't really like KZ2. For me, I like COD because it's semi-realistic with real guns.

So please folks have a bit of respect. I respect Halo, but just admit that there are people out there who couldn't get into Halo. Maybe it's because I sucked at it, I dunno. But to me, COD is way more interesting.

Halo did get a 6 month head start. But i doubt brawl will sell 1.5 mil in 6 months.

reguardless, the game is only a demo, and that is made very clear to the buyer that it is not the full game. its also a DEMO that launched a year after the FULL GAME forza 2, on a smaller userbase than the FULL GAME forza 2, at the same price as the FULL game Forza 2, and managed to sell nearly identical numbers. I really hope there isnt anyone here even remotely entertaining the notion that GT5 will be outsold by Forza 3.........let alone even reach the halfway mark :?

It's a Prologue ....not a demo...(That's been said 1000's of times here on SW)....It does not say anywhere on the packaging it's a demo....So I don't know how "clear it was to the consumer"... You are just one consumer... not 3.3 million...It's another over exaggeration to believe you can comment on 3.3 million peoples perspectives on what's clear and what is not...:?

Anyways...this thread is about Halo 3... not GT vs. Forza...If you want to talk about that... go up to the Sticky and post your claims...

Further proof that if you provide a solid and balanced multiplayer experiance and continue to support it your game will have some damn long legs on it. Call of duty could learn a thing or two about this a lot of shooters could.

I find it sad that people need to resort to the Halo novels to defend the uninspiring story the video games lack. Any outside source should not be considered. If the game had a good story to it, people shouldn't have to go out of their way to research the lore behind it to justify missing information. Halo's story as a whole is decent, but with the games by themselves, it is very bland, at least in my opinion.
