There is an in-game option to take ascreenshot from either 1st or 3rd person perspective. Like the feature that is also available in multiplayer.
Alright, im still waiting on screen shots form 3rd party soruces before I am wowed... I mean first party sources tend to hype there games as much as possible... all abord the hype train?
The Chief in the announcement video was using a bump-detail map derived from concrete, heh.
The Chief (and the MP Spartans) have since been given rather a lot of material love. The artists decided that the armor surfaces should actually look like a hardened metal surface instead of cast iron or "metallic sponge".
It's not blasto gratuitous bumpiness anymore. If that's what floats your boat, then too bad, our artists don't share your tastes. The materials are much more refined now (and the light play on them in motion is rather nice. :)
I dont see a difference other then different lighting on the armor. I doubt the game will have a blazing, bright sun(e3 ingame teaser)the entire campaign.
That's not game graphics, XBOX 360 would blow up if it was. lol. It's a cinematic. The graphics will be good, don't get me wrong, they'll be a bit better than Gears.

Actually I think it is Final Fantasy 90.;) I must have missed 77 FF games!!! Well, surley the'll all be AAA titles, so I don't care if they keep making them.

the pic is in-game. you can take pictures while your playing the single player and move the camera around anywhere you want.

Just like what we thought with Halo 2, rite? Then we found out that it was rushed.
Once a-$%^ing-gain. for the 10th time. that screenshot has better lighting aswell as color than the original trailer except the only difference is that the light is not shining on the side we see him on so therefore we dont see the textures.
this screenshot was also from the campaign, was taken on november 5th, and has the SAME amount of textures as the trailer.

In-game and gameplay are the same thing, in-engine cutscene's are what your talking about. That image right there is in-game/gameplay taken via the photomode just like in multiplayer video recordings.
1. The new screen doesn't have armor detail that the older screen had.
2. WTF to the visor reflection. Either the Chief is staring into an explosion, or the visor reflection hasn't been implemented.

Exactly what i was thinking...... but regardless, I dont care what MC looks like in the SP, I'm not gonna see him, except for cutscenes! I wantto see the environment and enemies in motion. Thats all that really matters
