Halo 3 Graphics: Happy Yet?

The Halo 3 cinimatics are done using the in-game engine, same as always. Read CrushVA's post, two above yours.

the pic is in-game. you can take pictures while your playing the single player and move the camera around anywhere you want.

Also, the chief visor reflection is very clear. He's standing right infront of a small fire on the ground with trees behind it. The problem is that the chief himself doesn't get light on him. Oww, wait a second. Maybe he's looking at the sky where you can see those clouds like in the e3 2006 trailer... MMMM, official bungie screens are irritating. so much speculation and you never get the answer back until you actually play the game.

You appear to have some messed up concept that because you can see an over used bump map effect on the armor in the first shot that somehow it must look better, or something like that, because the new armor looks far more like proper armor and is far less tacky and cheap looking.

If you can't see that then you have brainwashed yourself into thinking that technological gimmicks, that look pretty cheesy and tacky, are actually better than good design and artistic implementation.

If you have seen both those screens in high-res, where you can see the almost fiber glass look of the top image, and you seriously think the first one looks better, then you need your taste sorted.

Just my opinion mind...and each person can have their own.

At least the majority of people in the poll seem to have the right taste...
