That actually sounds pretty impressive to me. Not many games sell at a 1/3 attatch rate.

Yes yes it does. I would say the opinions of hundreds of professional game journalists matter more than the opinion of one poster on a gaming forum... And TC, you're really reaching with this one. If we use this as a measure than PS2 was one of the worst consoles ever. Its top exclusive had about a 10% attach rate...KodiakGTS

I'm not here to defend the TC.

But you have to take into account that the PS2 sold over 140 million units. With that number the 10% attachment seems pretty damn impressive. :)

The 360 only sold more than 28 million. So while the 1 in a 3 attachment rate is great, it doesn't beat the PS2's one.

I wish I could put a game on a next gen system and say that more than 1 out of every 4 owners had a copy.

Most game devs would sell their soul, their spouse, and their children for half the sales halo 3 has. I dont know who would call a 1/3 attach rate a failure.

Nope, 1 in 3 is very good. And considering it took 2 years to hit that mark, that means that it's sales didn't die off after launch, but instead stayed strong.
